Sameer Wankhede, born (1973) and brought up in the Mumbai suburbs, acquired his undergraduate degree in medicine from the Grant Medical College, followed by a post-graduation in Pediatrics from KEM Hospital, Mumbai.
He had a desire to write something different and amidst his busy schedule he used to steal time writing short stories, of which he has a large collection. He is deeply influenced by various dedicated philanthropic institutions and people. He has always felt that something needs to be done in his country for the ill-affording class and that the various advances in the field of medicine should be for each and every citizen of this country and not a selected few.
