Dr. Poonam Tripathi Mishra is a Dental Surgeon who studied at the Govt Dental College, Bangalore. Being an unusually sensitive person, she identifies easily with pain suffered by any being, anywhere. An avid listener, keen observer, and a voracious orator, fighting for rights ,comes naturally to her.Children, dogs, birds, flowers, and hills are some of her favourite things. Friends are her inspiration. Family is her security net. Her daughter is her strength. And humanity is above everything.Death has been a ‘touch and go’experience for her, and thus, there is no dearth of courage, making her verses heartfelt and real. Poetry has been her favourite since she read “Daffodils” by William Wordsworth, in school. She began writing in her early teens, but the last two years gave her the time required to contemplate, reflect, write and compile her verses into a book. This is her first collection of poems but by no means the last.
