Deep Soni, Somnath Chakraborty
“We are stranger among strangers” is how Somnath Chakraborty and Deep Soni like to describe themselves as they wander in the world, looking at things and reflecting upon them.
Deep is an avid reader of fiction and poetry and has been practising the art of writing poems for many years. Based in the bustling city of Ahmedabad, he is a student of Literature, whose special interest in Modernist poetry influences the majority of his works. His interest in languages like Gujarati and French also have an impact on his poems.
Somnath is also a student of Literature, who was born and brought up in the Northeastern hills of Tripura and is currently living in the same city as Deep. His interests include 19th-century poetry and fiction, especially gothic and horror fiction. He has been a practitioner of this art for many years now and writes tales of horror and mystery.
