Vivek V Gumaste

Vivek Gumaste is a physician who graduated from a prestigious medical school in India more than 35 years ago and has practiced medicine in three countries- India, UK and USA. He holds numerous postgraduate qualifications- he is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCP-I), a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and has a degree in Health Care management from Harvard University. Writing has been his passion since childhood. He is interested in current events and has written op-ed articles for major Indian newspapers like the Hindustan Times, the New Indian Express, Daily Pioneer and The Sunday Guardian. He writes a regular column for the popular online news portal Rediff.
