Tarun Jain and Mahima Verma are the visionary leaders behind WADA Magazine, WADA Awards, and the World Academy of Design (WAOD). With a combined experience of nearly five decades in the jewellery industry, they are committed to elevating the field through education, innovation, and global collaboration.
Tarun Jain, the Founder and Managing Director, brings 35 years of expertise as a certified gemologist from Gubelin, SSEF, and GIA. He has won 15 international design awards and is a pioneer in jewellery design, manufacturing, and education. Tarun has founded three design institutes in India and the UAE and served as the visionary leader of the Dubai Design Academy (DMCC). His efforts at WAOD focus on nurturing entrepreneurial jewellers and independent designers, blending technology and creativity.
Mahima Verma, the CEO and Co-Founder, has 14 years of experience in jewellery design, manufacturing, and gemology. A certified gemologist and award-winning designer, Mahima has trained over 2,000 students globally. She has led prestigious design academies in India and Dubai, where her students have excelled internationally.
Together, they aim to spotlight the artistry of jewellery designers through WADA Magazine, celebrating their contributions while shaping the future of the industry.
