Sri Ratan Tata once told students “ Don’t take anything seriously”. I have no regrets about anything nor have animosity towards anyone. This book is a honest introspection of my experiences with Indian, multinational and family-managed businesses. The intention is to help all readers to prepare themselves to become leaders in the manufacturing industry. I learned a lot from these experiences and continue to learn. Someone had once told me when one door closes, another door opens. How right! I am thankful to all my Gurus of all age groups who guided me throughout the tempest.

Sriram is a mechanical engineer from VNIT Nagpur with an MBA in Manufacturing. He is a linguist and can speak 8 languages including German. He has worked all over India and in Germany for multinational, national and family-managed manufacturing organizations in different capacities. He turned around many family-managed companies from bankruptcy. He has his own start-up for automation and robotics. He is also working as a coach to many SMEs for the implementation of lean manufacturing and project management. He learns and teaches classical Hindustani vocals to young children. He is associated with small charity homes that take care of abandoned elderly people, women and children.
