I’m Joanne, and the life that I chose to live. Which is way more complex than a simple life, a women might take to do the right thing.
It was stormy day in the cities of Mumbai, people never really wanted to know their place in the society. They never will. The impetuous system of acquiring social validation and emotional support, the lust over power and women defines the simple citizen of India. It was the day, I was captured by the people who were fully insecure about the system of their business and the survival of their position in the market. Yes, this is a story of a women who really wanted to hide the reality from people’s perception. Which reduces the questions of Good Samaritan, righteous persons and people who believes in the goodness.
Somewhere in the secluded room of a premium hotel:
A right hook from the muscular guy, who thinks himself as a professional boxer but he’s impetuous. Because, the blow gives me pain. I’m a lady whose 5’11 and fit enough to handle my own problems, but he wasted his energy on making a point that, this place is dangerous for people like me.
Joanne: you should ask the right question. Or else you’re going to waste both of our times.
The muscular: maybe we should make you enjoy more pain.
The muscular guy took a metal rod which was rusty.
Joanne: look, you’ve already wasted my shirt with blood.
The muscular guy: it was your blood. Don’t you feel any pain? Just give me what I want. Why you are here and what do you want?
Joanne: I’m Joanne, I was trying to do my job.
Sikandar: Really, carrying a gun near my boss’s private room.
Joanne: see. Emotional response in a professional environment spoils our work. Don’t you know that?
The muscular guy: you think I’m emotional?
Joanne: look at you, annoyed to the core just because you found me in the secret room that your boss Raymond makes a deal for drugs and weapons.
The muscular guy: your making me annoyed. Just tell me what you are? And we’ll finish this quick. I swear.
Joanne: what are you a professional interrogator? Who’s trained in breaking people? You’re just a guy who wants the respect from people around you, because you’re an illegitimate born son for a lady who runs a butcher shop.
The muscular guy: come on, what are you spying on me?
Joanne: no, some people that works for my organization.
The muscular guy looks intimidated. Opens the door and the things that was cleared from the room was kept outside. Mostly cleaning equipment’s. Dish washer liquid. Etc.
The right one never wanted to escape the situation. She just observes the people around her. Their voices. Trudges made in the steps to identify the number of people in here.
Joanne: who’s your favorite person?
The muscular guy: grabs her by her blazer. Never try to play games with me.
Joanne: if you need your mother safe? Do what I say. Or else you’ll regret the consequences.
The muscular guy: even if I help you they’d kill me. What’s the point in helping you?
Joanne: look, sikandar! You don’t to know who I am. And whom I work for?
The muscular guy/sikandar: you do know what’s going to happen. Don’t you?
Joanne: smart. Now, untie me we’ll make it work. I won’t hurt and you’re not going to do something unusual, right?
Sikandar: Agreed.
They both left the room, the next minute Joanne grabbed the gun from sikandar. And ordered “Just do as I say. We’ll get out of here together”.
Sikandar: agreed. Why have you waited for me to open the door, and then changed your mind?
Joanne: I never change my mind!
They both had a gun (Glock 19) & (Beretta 55) for each and made use of it to execute others in the floor. Reloaded their guns.
Joanne mentioned the Beretta and suggested to change it coz of its unsupportive mechanism.
Sikandar: tell me, who are you? RAW or IB?
Joanne: my organization, they don’t work for nations and people.
Sikandar: so, who do they work for?
Joanne: the purpose of creating a balance among humanity.
Sikandar: I don’t understand.
Joanne: trust me, you don’t have to.
They both entered the private room by covering sikandar. The boss who’s responsible to transaction creating weapons and supporting terrorist activities in Africa is standing in front of them. The network creating demand by proliferation of violence and terrorism to reduce people’s perception on the politics happening in front of them, might get to an end. By killing him.
Joanne: long time?
Sikandar seemed surprised.
Raymond: yes, very long time.
Sikandar: you know her? (Questioned Raymond).
Raymond: I was once like you, sikandar. This women right here. She never tells her name, whom she works for, how does she knows this much of information. What kind of a power she’s dealing with? If she’s on your shoulders, it’s the only last decision you’ve made in your life.
Joanne makes a small devilish smile on her face.
Sikandar pulled the trigger facing Joanne. The gun was empty.
Sikandar: why are you doing this? You could have killed me down in the room.
Joanne: I could have. But you’ve drained my energy. It was a right decision to make you believe something that’s never going to happen.
Raymond: you gave me the power, you gave me the job, and you gave me the purpose that I was in the middle right now. Why have you decided to erase me of the chart?
Joanne: your times done. The people that I’m working for, they wanted you to stop. You should have obeyed the orders.
Raymond: obey the orders, really Joanne. I’ve made every deals and transportation routes for drug cartels like the way you asked.
Joanne: yes, we never believed it was possible. You made it possible Raymond. We can observe whoever is hiding and going to keep their steps in this trap we’ve created. Until you made the safe route for yourself.
Sikandar: so, it was all politics that we’ve running our lives to make profit out of drugs and you can kill us whenever you want. Don’t you guys have any idea about creating something right?
Joanne: says the guy who works for a drug dealer?
Sikandar: says the guy who lost his life in this society’s imperfection.
Joanne: that’s one way of putting it.
Pulls the trigger by killing Raymond.
Sikandar: I should’ve taken your advice. “Never show emotions in a professional environment”
Joanne: you should have!
Joanne pulls the trigger, kills sikandar who would’ve killed her. If wasn’t emotional enough to risk his life for his mother.
Joanne disappeared.
The police arrived at the crime scene. Reported it as an assassination done by two people.
The long journey of creating a drug dealer and his mob who shares the same ideology. Which ended up cleaning the investors who are capitalistic enough to fund terrorism to threaten government by selling drugs. Scientists who were indulged in creating a hybrid variety of opium and coca plant, which can now introduced to the nations from a continent which was spoiled out for its resources. The new system created by this drug cartel was analyzed to deal with the future perpetrators who never comes under system.
People’s perception about reality is based on the information we feed them. Which corresponds with their moral & scruples. The social structure we’re trying to create doesn’t always involves development and population control. It involves people with potential and strenuous ideology to create peace. Not for the people who wants to create a world with the perception of pain induced by social structure. So, we always need people who act in right ways to protect and create a peaceful environment. Someone like a RIGHT ONE.
