Submitted to Contest #1 in response to the prompt: 'Write a story about an underdog chasing an impossible dream. '

Titty mol was not just another girl—she was a dreamer, a believer, and a faithful child of God. From a young age, she carried a dream in her heart, a dream that was not just about her but about changing the lives of others.

When she was in 7th grade, she decided, "I want to become an IAS officer." But for her, it was never about power or prestige. It was about serving the poor, protecting the homeless, educating children, and ensuring the safety of women.

Her heart burned with passion to make a difference. She was deeply inspired by Mahatma Gandhi—his simple lifestyle, humility, and dedication to the people. His path of truth and service touched her heart. She often said to herself, "I want to live like him, serving people with a pure heart."

A Life of Struggles and Faith

But life was never easy for her. Born into a poor family, her childhood was filled with struggles.

There were days when they had nothing to eat. Nights when her mother cried silently, thinking Titty mol wouldn't hear. But she heard. And every time, she promised herself, "One day, I will change our lives."

She saw her mother working day and night, doing small jobs just to keep food on the table. Her hands were rough, her back ached, yet she never complained.

One evening, as they returned from the market, her mother struggled to carry a heavy rice bag. Her hands were shaking, her feet swollen from long hours of work.

Titty mol ran to help. "Mother, one day, everything will change. I will take care of you. I promise."

Her mother smiled through her tiredness. "My child, all I want is for you to be happy."

But Titty mol wanted more than happiness. She wanted change.

A Heart for the People

Titty mol loved to travel, meet new people, and understand their struggles.

One day, she visited a poor neighborhood in her village. She saw children without shoes, mothers working endlessly, and young girls afraid to walk alone at night.

It broke her heart. That night, she knelt beside her bed and prayed, "Lord, let me be a light in their darkness."

Her journey was difficult. She had no expensive books, no private tuition classes—only determination and faith.

Every morning, before opening her books, she prayed.
Every night, before sleeping, she prayed.
Before every exam, she prayed.

Whenever she felt weak, she opened her Bible and read,

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

She held onto those words like a shield.

People doubted her. They said, "A poor girl becoming an IAS officer? Impossible!"

But Titty mol smiled and whispered to herself, "With God, nothing is impossible."

The Big Day – IAS Exam

Years passed. The day of the IAS exam arrived.

Her hands trembled as she held the pen, but she closed her eyes and prayed, "Jesus, this is for You."

She answered every question with all her heart, trusting in God’s plan.

And then, the moment of truth arrived.

The results were announced.

Titty mol took a deep breath and checked the list.

"Titty mol secures First Rank in IAS Exams!"

For a moment, she couldn’t believe it. She blinked, rereading the words again and again.

Tears streamed down her face as she ran home, shouting, "Mother! Mother!"

Her mother turned, confused. But when she saw the joy in Tittymol’s eyes, she knew.

Titty mol hugged her tightly and cried, "Mother, this is not my victory… This is God’s gift to me."

The World Takes Notice

The news spread like wildfire.

Her name was everywhere—in newspapers, TV screens, and in the hearts of thousands.

Reporters came to interview her. Everyone asked the same question:

"How did you do it?"

And every time, she gave the same answer:

"Without Jesus, I would be nothing. This is His plan, not mine."

She was invited to talk shows, universities, and even government events. People admired her, but she never let pride enter her heart.

One day, an officer told her, "You deserve a luxurious life now."

But she replied with a humble smile, "I don’t want luxury. I want to serve."

A Story of Inspiration

One day, during a visit to a small village, she met a young girl named Anjali.

Anjali was 13 years old, bright, and full of dreams. But her family was so poor that her parents wanted her to quit school and work in the fields.

Titty mol sat beside her and asked, "Anjali, what do you want to be?"

The girl looked down and whispered, "I wanted to be a doctor. But we have no money."

Titty mol took her hands and said, "Never let your dreams die. Trust in God, and He will make a way."

With Tittymol’s support, Anjali continued her studies. Years later, she became a successful doctor, treating the poor for free.

When people asked her, "What inspired you?" she said, "A woman who never stopped believing in God and dreams."

A Life of Service

Titty mol had achieved her dream, but for her, it was just the beginning.

She chose a simple lifestyle—not a life of comfort, but a life of service.

She built shelters for the homeless.
She fought for women's safety.
She created schools for underprivileged children.
She stood for justice and equality.

Instead of working from an air-conditioned office, she spent her days in villages, poor areas, and remote areas, listening to people’s struggles and working continuously to change their lives.

One evening, a young girl said, "Didi, I want to be like you."

Titty mol smiled, her eyes filled with tears. She gently held the girl's hands and said, "Never stop dreaming. And never stop praying."

Her mission was greater than herself.

Her dream was to build a nation where women are safe, where there is no war, and where everyone is treated equally.

She dedicated her life to this mission, following in the footsteps of Jesus.

A Legacy of Faith

Years later, people still spoke about Titty mol—the girl who dreamed with God.

She proved that faith can move mountains, dreams can change lives, and with God, anything is possible.

She was not just an IAS officer.
She was not just a woman of service.
She was a light in the darkness, a voice for the voiceless, and a Soldier of Christ.

And till her last breath, she carried the same prayer in her heart:

"Lord, let me be a blessing to this world."

Moral of the Story:

No matter how hard life gets, never stop dreaming, never stop believing, and never stop walking with God. With faith, hard work, and a pure heart, you can change the world.
