Sagi was an ordinary little girl—well, almost. She had a big secret, one she couldn’t tell anyone.

Every night, when the world was asleep, something magical happened.

It would start with a soft, tingly feeling in her toes, like tiny bubbles popping under her skin. Then, her fingers would shimmer, her back would feel warm, and—whoosh! A pair of glittering wings would sprout from her shoulders. Her nose would stretch into a soft, velvety snout, her legs would turn strong and graceful, and right in the middle of her forehead, a sparkling horn would appear.

She had become a flying unicorn.

And just as she started to giggle with excitement, a swirling silver portal would open above her bed, spinning like melted moonlight. Sagi would flap her wings, leap into the air, and—ZOOM!—she was off to Fairyland, where the sky was golden and the clouds tasted like cotton candy.

Welcome to Fairyland

Sagi loved Fairyland. It was always daytime there, filled with shimmering trees, floating rivers, and rainbow bridges that sparkled like jewels. But the best part was meeting her two best unicorn friends—Joe and Joy.

Joe was mischievous, with a coat as white as fresh snow and eyes that twinkled with mischief. He loved to play pranks and tease Sagi in the funniest ways. Joy, on the other hand, was sweet and gentle, with a golden mane that glowed in the sunlight. She loved to dance and sing, twirling through the air with elegant flips.

“Sagi! You’re late!” Joe called out as she landed in the soft, fluffy grass.

“She’s not late,” Joy said, flipping her mane. “She just arrived fashionably.”

Sagi laughed. “I couldn’t wait to see you both! What are we doing today?”

Joe grinned mischievously. “Something fun.”

Sagi had learned that when Joe said ‘fun,’ it usually meant ‘trouble.’ But she loved adventure, so she followed him and Joy through the golden fields.

Bubble Trouble and Marshmallow Mishaps

Joe led them to a giant, fluffy cloud floating low to the ground. It looked normal—soft and puffy—but the moment Sagi stepped on it—POP! The cloud exploded into millions of tiny bubbles, covering her from horn to hoof in thick, soapy foam.

“Joe!” Sagi sputtered, shaking her wings. “You did that on purpose!”

Joe snorted with laughter, rolling on the ground. Even Joy couldn’t help but giggle.

“I had to!” Joe said between chuckles. “You looked too clean!”

Sagi flicked her tail, sending a bubble straight into Joe’s face. “There! Now we’re even.”

After finally shaking off the foam, Joy suggested they go to the Marshmallow Meadows for a snack. It was a magical place where marshmallows grew like flowers and caramel rivers flowed between the hills.

Excited, Sagi tried to jump over a caramel stream, but—SQUISH!—she landed right in a giant marshmallow bush, sinking deep into its gooey fluff.

“Help!” she called, her hooves stuck.

Joe and Joy burst into laughter before finally pulling her out.

“I think you’ve eaten enough marshmallows,” Joe teased.

Sagi rolled her eyes. “Oh, just wait! I’ll get you back for this!”

The Missing Sunflower

As the day in Fairyland continued, something strange started happening. The golden sky began to dim, and a cold breeze swept through the land.

Sagi, Joe, and Joy looked around in confusion. The air felt…wrong.

Then, from a distance, a tiny fairy flew toward them, her wings fluttering wildly.

“Unicorns! We need your help!” she cried. “The Enchanted Sunflower that lights Fairyland has been stolen!”

Sagi’s eyes widened. “Who would take it?”

The fairy shivered. “A shadow creature! It stole the sunflower and fled into the Twilight Woods!”

Everyone in Fairyland knew that Twilight Woods was the one place unicorns avoided. It was filled with twisting trees, strange whispers, and tricky paths that always seemed to change.

Joe gulped. “O-okay, this sounds like a bad idea.”

Joy, however, straightened her wings. “Fairyland needs us. We have to go!”

Sagi took a deep breath. “Let’s do it.”

The Adventure in Twilight Woods

The three unicorns flew toward Twilight Woods, the air growing colder as they approached. The trees were tall and dark, their branches reaching like fingers. Shadows flickered between them, whispering strange words.

As they entered, the trees closed behind them with a soft whoosh.

“No turning back now,” Joe muttered.

They trotted carefully through the woods, following the faint golden glow of the missing sunflower. But suddenly—SWOOSH!—a thick fog surrounded them.

“Where are you going, little unicorns?” a deep voice echoed.

A tall, shadowy figure emerged, its eyes glowing red.

“If you want the sunflower, you must solve my riddle,” the creature said.

Sagi gulped. “What’s the riddle?”

The shadow grinned. “I shine but have no flame, I guide but have no feet. Without me, the night is never complete. What am I?”

Sagi’s mind raced. It had to be something that gave light… but not fire…

Then she gasped. “The moon!”

The shadow froze. Then, with a sigh, it stepped aside, revealing the glowing Enchanted Sunflower.

“You are clever, unicorn,” it said. “Take your prize.”

Sagi grabbed the sunflower, and the three of them raced out of the woods, dodging creeping vines and swirling mist.

Restoring the Light

As soon as they returned to Fairyland, Sagi placed the Enchanted Sunflower back in its spot on the Golden Hill.

A brilliant golden light spread across the land, warming everything with its glow. The sky brightened, the rivers sparkled, and Fairyland was safe once more.

Fairies and unicorns cheered. The little fairy who had asked for help flew up to Sagi and kissed her on the nose. “Thank you, Sagi! You saved us!”

Sagi beamed. Joe and Joy hugged her, and even Joe admitted, “Okay, that was awesome.”

The Return

As the celebrations continued, Sagi suddenly felt light-headed. A familiar pull tugged at her body.

“Oh no,” she whispered. “It’s time for me to go.”

Joe and Joy looked sad but smiled. “We’ll see you tomorrow night.”

With a final wave, Sagi felt herself being lifted away, soaring back through the portal…

…until she woke up in her bed, back in her human form.

Had it all been a dream?

She rubbed her eyes and sighed—until she noticed something on her pillow.

A single golden feather.

Sagi grinned. Fairyland was real. And she couldn’t wait for nightfall.

The End.
