It's the night. The darkness has circled all over the area and its pouring outside.
Alicia standed near the window and staring outside thinking about her bad day. As she was thinking and sipping the coffee, There is a sound of door bell and knock on the door.
Alicia thought herself, today there is no one who is visiting her.
And slowly she went to the door and before opening a door she hesitated and peaked through a peep hole.
There was a man who is about 6 feet and have a 5 year old girl standing on front of the door and still knocking. As Alicia was alone she was scared to open the door and asked that man in a calm voice.
Who are you?
Man: My Name is Brad. My car broke in front of your house and its raining heavily and My phone battery died. And i have a daughter who is really a sick Please can I use your phone?
Alicia: Hesitantly. No I can't help but if you walk 500m ahead you will see a phone booth, There you can call someone.
Man: its really raining very badly. I can't go further more with my daughter. Please help.(pleading)
On the other side Alicia is a kind hearted girl after him pleading for some time she decided to open the door for that 5 year old daughter.
As she opened the door, they both came in.
Brad: Thank you. Thank you so much
Alicia: That's okay. Please be seated I will bring towels for your girl and you.
Alicia started walking towards her room.
Brad and her daughter waited There for her.
After 5 minutes Alicia came back and handed them a towels. They both dried themselves.
Alicia: Whats your name? She asked his daughter.
Brad: Her name is June.
Alicia : okay, are you cold ? Again she asked his daughter.
June: Nodding (yes)
Alicia: oo poor thing do you want some hot water?
Brad: No, That's okay. We really need to go. But I should call some can I get a charger if you have?
Alicia: Gives a charger staring at him
Brad put his phone to charging but he asked for Alicia phone to call someone urgently so Alicia gave the phone.
In other side June is looking scared and confused.
Alicia wanted to comfort her but Brad stops Alicia everytime she starts to speak with June.
Now Alicia is suspicious. But she doesn't care much. She asks Brad did you call. Brad replies yes but no response.
Alicia just sat on her sofa and on the TV and started watching the news And she sees in a news that the June is missing and she has been kidnapped in morning.
Alicia froze for a second her heart stops beating for a moment. She started to sweat. She looked at June and June looked at Alicia. Now she know both of them are in danger.
Alicia dint dare to move and she know if she act now both of their lives are in danger but she have to act fast to save June and herself.
Now Alicia knows Brad is a kidnapper. She acted straight. She knows the only way to save themselves to call police. But in other side Brad was also there and watching the news.
He turned to Alicia and took out the gun from his back. And came near to her face and told do not dare to speak.
The phone is also with him and he also knows that Alicia knows about him.
June was also scared but dint speak a word.
Brad for Alicia: you are going to die anyway.
Alicia- Scared to death. But acted fast. She took a Vase on the table and just smashed it on his head.
Brad stumbled and fell.
In meantime Alicia took June and ran upstairs and locked her room and started dailing for police from her land line.
But she can hear the brad steps. As Brad is climbing the stairs. Alicia heart beat was dropping. Alicia hid the June in wardrobe. And manage to call the police. By the time she called police. The room door was opened by Brad.
Brad ran to Alicia and he slaped her and punched her on stomach. Alicia dropped on the floor.
Brad laughs hahaha
Are you really going to call the police? Do you think you can do that. You are such a b***
Alicia was tired the only thing running on her mind was how to survive this.
Brad:June??June??
Because of you she is also going to die (Brad tells to Alicia grabbing her hair).
Alicia pleads to Brad.
Don't hurt us please?? What do you need?? Why are doing this??
Please don't kill us.
Brad laughs and start searching for June.
He looks under the bed he looks in bathroom and everywhere. And lastly went to wardrobe.
Alicia grabbed is leg but Brad kicked her on the face and went forward. Alicia tried everything possible but Brad opened the wardrobe door.
June has curled up and crying.
Brad take out the June and points out the gun.
But he heard a knock on the door.
Brad looked at Alicia and asks is there someone who was visiting you today??
Alicia nods No.
He make Alicia to stand up and he takes her to downstairs and tell her to look at the peephole but she doesn't recognize them.
She tells to Brad I don't know them.
Brad tells to keep quite. But the two mens kick the door and shoots the door and came in.
Yes they are the police
When she was dailing for police in upstairs she already got connected when Brad came in. Police heard the whole thing and they new something was not right. So they came to her home to check.
In the meantime when there was no one responding in the home they hesitated to come in.
But after Alicia and Brad came down June took a dailer of landline and confirmed they are still here and both of them life are in danger.
That's when police barged in.
They handcuff the Brad and They took both Alicia and June for emergency care.
Alicia was honoured for her bravery and kindness.
June again reunited with the family.
Brad got a life sentences to chill.
