“I can’t believe I won! Finally, my dream has come true,”
Dev exclaimed with excitement and joy.
“Hey, why are you shouting? And what did you win?”
asked Siddharth, who was Dev’s brother.
“Siddharth, you won’t believe this, but this is a huge win
for me. My dream is about to come true,” Dev said,
brimming with excitement.
“Alright, that’s fine, but are you going to tell me what it
is or not?” Siddharth asked again.
“Do you remember, four months ago, I participated in a
lucky draw? The grand prize was five tickets for a cruise
where we’d get to stay onboard for three months free of
charge. Back then, you all made fun of me and said it was
fake, and we wouldn’t get anything,” Dev explained to
Siddharth.
“Oh yes, I remember now. But are you serious? Did you
really win that lucky draw?” Siddharth asked excitedly.
“Yes, brother! Look, I won the lucky draw,” Dev said,
handing Siddharth the newspaper. The paper had Dev’s
photo and name printed on it, along with an address where
he was supposed to collect the tickets.
“I’m so happy, my brother. For the first time in your life,
you may have done something good,” Siddharth teased.
“What did you just say? For the first time and maybe?Fine, then I’m not taking anyone with me,” Dev retorted
angrily.
Hearing this conversation, Dev and Siddharth’s other two
brothers, Darsh and Vikramaditya, came running. They
hugged Dev and lifted him into the air.
“Now tell us, won’t you take your brothers with you?”
Darsh said, laughing.
“Put me down!” Dev yelled.
“First, promise us that you’ll take us along. And even if
you don’t, we’re coming because you’re the youngest
brother, and it’s your responsibility to take care of us,”
Vikramaditya said, laughing.
“Alright, alright, put me down. You all are coming with
me,” Dev finally agreed.
“But the tickets are for five people, and there are four of
us. So, who will be the fifth?” Siddharth asked.
“Why don’t we take Ashish along?” Vikramaditya
suggested.
“Yes, that’s a great idea,” everyone agreed.
Dev and Siddharth went to the address mentioned in the
newspaper to collect the tickets. Meanwhile,
Vikramaditya and Darsh went to Ashish’s house to invite
him. Ashish readily agreed to join them. The next day, everyone was ready and arrived at the port.
After asking around, they learned that their ship wouldn’t
arrive there.
At that moment, a man approached them and said, “Hello,
sir. I’m a representative of the company that organized the
lucky draw. I’m here to inform you that you need to travel
to Sri Lanka first. From there, your ship will depart. Due
to certain restrictions, the ship cannot dock in India.”
“But why isn’t the ship coming to India?” Dev questioned
the man.
“If you paid attention to the newspaper, the lucky draw
wasn’t organized in India. It was conducted by the
Russian government. This journey will take your ship
through several oceans, including the Bering Sea and the
Pacific Ocean,” the man explained.
He further informed them that they wouldn’t have to pay
any charges to travel to Sri Lanka, from where their
journey would officially begin. Their ship, which was to
take them to Sri Lanka, was waiting at the port. Everyone
boarded the ship and reached Sri Lanka.
After waiting in Sri Lanka for two days, their main ship
finally arrived. The ship’s officers invited them aboard for
their journey.
Everyone boarded the ship.
“This ship is enormous!” Ashish exclaimed in amazementand excitement.
The crew handed out a roadmap to everyone, showing the
places the ship would pass through. The roadmap showed
the following route:
Sri Lanka → Indian Ocean → Strait of Malacca → South
China Sea → Pacific Ocean → North Pacific Ocean →
Bering Sea.
“So, our final destination is the Bering Sea,” Dev said.
Everyone was having a great time on the ship. Siddharth
was particularly fascinated by the fish. He saw several
different species he had never seen before. They even
spotted dolphins.
At night, they sipped various juices while admiring the
sea view. They were provided with luxurious clothes and
food, all free of cost. Dev had enrolled in the lucky draw
for just ₹5000. For now, life seemed fun, adventurous, and
beautiful.
They had been on the ship for five days and still had
plenty of time left. In the mornings, they played cricket,
enjoyed delicious breakfasts, and Vikramaditya and
Siddharth worked out in the gym. In the afternoons, they
all watched a good movie together and spent the evenings
admiring the sea. At night, they danced, enjoyed delicious
dinners, and went to bed.
The journey was progressing steadily. There weren’t
many people on the ship—only around 100 to 200passengers. Everyone seemed incredibly happy and full
of joy.
However, Siddharth and Vikramaditya appeared a little
worried.
“Why do I feel like I’ve heard the name ‘Bering Sea’
before?” Siddharth asked Vikramaditya.
“I feel the same way,” Vikramaditya replied thoughtfully.
The ship was now in the North Pacific Ocean. They had
been on the ship for 40 days. They began to notice that the
sea had become much calmer. But when they reached the
Bering Sea, everything started to feel strange. They could
hardly spot any fish. The entire sea seemed eerily quiet.
No ships, no fish.
Siddharth asked the ship’s captain, “What is going on
here?”
The captain replied, “I’ll explain shortly because even I
don’t understand what’s happening.”
The captain’s response worried Siddharth. The ship
continued moving toward the center of the sea. Night had
fallen.
“I remember where I’ve heard the name ‘Bering Sea’
before!” Vikramaditya said to Siddharth.
“Where have you heard it?” Siddharth asked eagerly.“The Bering Sea is one of those mysterious seas where
many ships have disappeared,” Vikramaditya said with
concern.
“Why are you so excited about that?” Siddharth snapped
angrily.
“We must stop the ship from going further into the center.
Strong waves occur there, and most ships disappear in that
area.”
“Why are you telling me this? I’m not steering the ship!
Let’s go to the captain,” Siddharth said irritably.
They both went to the captain and urged him to turn the
ship around. Just then, the ship lost its balance, and
everyone fell. Siddharth went outside and saw waves
moving so fast that they were almost invisible, as if
traveling faster than the speed of light.
“What’s happening?” Darsh asked Dev.
“It feels like we’re in a ‘Titanic’ scenario,” Dev joked.
“Idiot! Stop saying stupid things,” Darsh said angrily.
The ship’s items were scattered everywhere. Everyone
clung to something to save themselves. The captain was
still trying to control the ship’s handle.
“What do we do now?” Vikramaditya asked Siddharth.“To hell with this ship and its captain. We must save our
friends at any cost,” Siddharth said.
“But how?” Vikramaditya asked.
“This ship has lifeboats. We’ll have everyone wear life
jackets and get them onto the boats,” Siddharth proposed
a plan.
At that moment, the ship became even more
uncontrollable. The captain lost his grip on the handle and
fainted after hitting his head.
“Now what? The captain has abandoned us too,”
Vikramaditya said.
“Go and get the life jackets for everyone. Have them put
them on, and we’ll leave this ship,” Siddharth said. “I’ll
try to steer the ship for now. You lower the lifeboats into
the water and get on. If I can make it out, I’ll join you.”
Vikramaditya didn’t want to leave Siddharth behind, but
Siddharth used emotional reasoning to convince him to
board the boat. Siddharth gave his all to control the ship.
Somehow, the ship steadied a bit, but the waves were so
strong that Siddharth couldn’t hold on for long.
Meanwhile, Vikramaditya handed out life jackets to
everyone. They all wore them and jumped off the ship.
“We need to leave quickly! Let’s go!” Ashish warned
everyone.“Are you out of your mind? We’re not going anywhere
until Siddharth arrives,” the three brothers said to Ashish.
The ship was now on the verge of sinking. Everyone was
worried because Siddharth hadn’t returned yet. Just then,
the ship sank, and the three brothers closed their eyes.
“Look, there he is!” Ashish shouted excitedly.
Siddharth jumped off the ship at the last moment. The
three brothers saved him together. Now, they were all on
the lifeboat. They had escaped the ship, but the waves
were still strong. Holding onto the lifeboat, they drifted
with the current.
Suddenly, a massive wave overturned the boat.
Two days later:
“Where am I, and what is this place?” Dev opened his
eyes. Looking around, he realized he might have reached
an island. He searched everywhere but saw no one. Then,
a little distance away, he spotted some people lying on the
ground.
“Could it be Siddharth, Vikramaditya, Darsh, and
Ashish?” Dev muttered.
He saw Ashish and Darsh lying unconscious. Dev tried
hard to wake them up. Finally, after pouring seawater on
them and pressing their stomachs, they regained
consciousness.“Where are Siddharth and Vikramaditya?” Darsh asked.
“I’m looking for them too. I’ve only found you two so
far,” Dev replied.
The three of them started searching for Siddharth and
Vikramaditya, but they found nothing.
“You said this is an island?” Ashish asked Dev.
“Yes, but why?” Dev replied.
“This doesn’t seem like an island; it feels more like a
continent,” Ashish said.
“But there are only seven continents in the world. We’ve
never heard of this one,” Dev responded.
Dev walked ahead, with Ashish and Darsh following
behind. Dev turned around and said, “Don’t worry, guys.
We’ll find Siddharth and Vikramaditya soon.”
Suddenly, Ashish and Darsh started trembling in fear.
“Even if we don’t find them, we’ve definitely found
trouble,” Darsh said, his voice shaking.
“What did you say? Why are you guys so scared?” Dev
asked.
“Brother, just look behind you,” Darsh said in a trembling
voice.Dev turned around to see a dinosaur standing behind him.
“What in the world is that?” Dev exclaimed.
“That’s a dinosaur,” Ashish said, panicking.
“But dinosaurs went extinct millions of years ago. What
is it doing here?” Dev asked.
“How would I know? Just run!” Darsh shouted in fear.
They all started running. As they ran, they noticed many
strange animals and plants. Somehow, they reached the
edge of the island.
“When I get home, I’ll inform the media that dinosaurs
still exist,” Dev said.
“And when we get home, I’ll kill you because all of this
is happening because of you,” Darsh said angrily.
The lifeboat was still there. They managed to repair it and
left the island.
“If luck is on our side and the waves stay calm, we might
make it home,” Darsh said. But things didn’t go as he
thought. The waves grew fierce once againA New Island:
When they opened their eyes, they were together again,
but on a new island. This island was different from the
previous one. For months, they survived on just fruits and
water. Then one day, they saw an old village.
“This village looks very old and backward,” Ashish said.
Dev took out pictures of Siddharth and Vikramaditya and
started asking the villagers about them.
Then a shopkeeper said, “This boy was here two days ago.
He went toward the palace.”
“Which palace? And where is it?” Darsh asked.
The shopkeeper showed them the way to the palace.
“Take my son with you; he will help you,” the shopkeeper
said.
“What’s your name?” Dev asked the shopkeeper’s son.
“My name is Kalyan. By the way, where are you all
from?” Kalyan asked them.
“We’re from India and got lost because of the waves.
Does anyone here have a mobile phone?” Darsh asked
Kalyan.
“Mobile phone? What’s that?” Kalyan asked in surprise.“I think this village is very old, so they don’t know about
modern things,” Dev said to Darsh.
Soon, they reached the palace.
“Your friend went this way,” Kalyan said to them.
When they asked a guard outside the palace, they found
out that the boy was imprisoned.
“But why?” Kalyan asked the guard.
“He entered the palace without permission and was eating
the king’s royal food,” the guard replied.
The king of the palace was very fond of Kalyan. So, at
Kalyan’s request, the king ordered the boy’s release.
“Finally, you guys came to rescue me,” Vikramaditya said
to them.
After spending some time at the palace, they all left.
“But Vikramaditya, where is Siddharth?” Dev asked.
“I don’t know. When I woke up, I found myself in this
small, old village,” Vikramaditya replied.
“Have you lost another friend?” Kalyan asked. “Yes, he’s
our brother. His name is Siddharth,” Darsh replied.
“Can you tell us where we are?” Vikramaditya askedKalyan.
“You’re in Lothal right now. I think you should go to
King Samudragupta. Only he can help you,” Kalyan said.
“What are you talking about? Samudragupta died
between 375 and 380 CE. How can he still be alive? And
it’s 2024 right now,” Vikramaditya said in astonishment.
“What joke are you making? It’s 346 CE right now. Don’t
say such things to anyone, or they’ll throw you in prison
and punish you severely,” Kalyan explained.
“How can it be 346 CE?” Vikramaditya asked in disbelief.
After asking many people and thinking deeply, they
realized it really was 346 CE.
“Could my suspicion be true?” Darsh said.
“What suspicion?” Vikramaditya asked.
“Have we traveled back in time?” Darsh said.
“You’re right, Darsh. I feel the same,” Vikramaditya
replied.
“But how will we find Siddharth now?” Dev asked.
“We have to find him at any cost. He’s our brother, and
we can’t go home without him,” Vikramaditya said.A New Twist
Just then, Kalyan said, “I recently heard that two strange
men are imprisoned in a cave in Ujjain.”
“Are you serious?” Vikramaditya asked eagerly.
“Yes, but we’ll need a plan to rescue them,” Kalyan
replied.
Executing the Plan
According to the plan, Vikramaditya insulted the king and
got himself imprisoned. There, he met the two prisoners,
Jay and Harshavardhan.
“You’re from 2024? How is that possible?” Jay asked.
Vikramaditya explained everything.
Harshavardhan said, “We also traveled through time to
get here. I’m from 2003, and Jay is from 2016.”
With Kalyan’s plan, they managed to free both prisoners
from the prison.
Now, all of them set out in search of Siddharth.
