The story starts with a girl named Lira. Lira is a college student pursuing her dreams of becoming a cryptologist. Just like her name she is full of curiosity and always seeks the truth.
One day she was at her home doing her work. At exactly 12:00 o'clock a message popped up into her phone. She opened the message,it was from some unknown number, she opened it,it was written "A red box,at xxx apartment's parking lot." She was confused as there was no name and explanation. At first she thought of ignoring it,but the curiosity was killing her
what will be there at that place?
what's the red box ?
Keeping her thought aside she finally fall asleep.
The next day, instead of going to college, Lira directly headed to the apartment parking lot to find the red box.
She was at the apartment's parking lot, searching carefully. Her eyes scanned the area-- then she saw it,tucked behind a trash can, covered with dust.
Her heart started pounding. She looked around to make sure no one was watching...then slowly she reached out and opened it and saw a USB device.
Without wasting a second , she rushed home , connected the USB device. Her fingers trembled and then a folder popped up "DONT LOOK" .
Lira opened the folder. But what she saw next made her blood run cold.
There were dozens of photos. People ,who were brutally murdered . One picture have their head, one have hands, one have body but without head. And in each photo there were dates scribbled in the corner.
And one of them had today's date.
Lira panicked. She closed the laptop. And a message popped up : "DELETE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE 1 HOUR".
Lira was terrified. She took the USB device and started running. Her heart was pounding. She knew someone was following her. She didn't looked back. She was trying to give every evidence to police.
And then......
A van screecher. Two men in black suit stepped out.
She turned to run as fast as she can buy she collided into someone - tall , in a grey hoodie .
Before she could do anything,he pulled her behind the dumpster.
"Stay quiet - he whispered, his voice was calm and sharp.
The black suit man disappeared.
Lira pushed him hard.
"Who are you" - she shouted.
" How did you know me?"
He stepped back slowly,hand up.
" If I hadn't been , you'd be gone by now"
"DEAD"
She gulped in fear.
"No need to afraid of me. I am an agent, "Agent Shadow".
Lira was not able decide whether to trust on him or not.
He continued...
“I used to work for the group that killed those people,” he says, eyes dark. “But I got out… or at least, I tried to.”
He admits he was once part of the organization behind the USB murders.
But he saw something that made him leave — and now they want him dead too.
He was supposed to get the red box and expose them through a secret contact.
Lira asks:
“Then why did I get the message?”
He replies:
“Because someone inside the group… is helping us. And they chose you.”
She’s confused.
“Why me?”
“Because no one would suspect you. Not even you.”
Just then, Shadow’s phone buzzes.
“Too late. We found you.”
Lira hears a drone outside. Then a gunshot.
They're already surrounded.
Now they have to escape together — but can she trust him?
They turned a corner—Shadow kicked open a rusty side door of an abandoned printing shop and dragged her inside.
“They’ve found us faster than I expected,” he muttered, locking the door with a steel rod.
“So what now?” she asked.
“Now we run. And we fight back.”
He pulled out a small device — like a pager.
“This will trigger a signal blackout for 5 minutes. It’s our only chance.”
It was their only chance to expose them.
Their dirty games, the murders, the coverups.
The world needed to know — and the press was their only hope.
Agent Shadow winced, pressing his hand to the bleeding wound on his side as Lira helped him into a dim underground train station.
“The press won’t believe us unless we show everything,” she said, holding the USB tightly. “The images. The footage. The names.”
He nodded, face pale but eyes fierce.
“Not just any press. We send this to Reyes. She’s the only one with enough reach — and guts — to run it without being bought or silenced.”
Lira had never heard the name before. But she trusted Shadow now.
Not completely.
But enough to run.
Tension Build: They reach a cyber café with old, barely-working computers. Lira plugs in the USB.
They compress the files, add a message:
“If you’re reading this, people died to bring you the truth.”
Just as she clicks Send… the power flickers.
Shadow whispers:
> “They’re here.”
A short shootout or chase — but Lira escapes.
A news broadcast plays the next day:
“Breaking: Secret Network Exposed — Leaked Footage Shows Ties Between Officials and Underground Killings.”
The truth was out — but so was her name. And they weren’t done yet.
Just one message that turned everything for Lira.
It started with a mistake — a message never meant for her. And ended with a truth the world couldn't ignore.
