I never imagined I'd write a book. Honestly, I never even imagined I'd be the one to read them with interest.
My journey didn’t begin in libraries or literary circles. I come from the world of layouts, branding, and bold colours. I’m a graphic designer, and for years I’ve been successfully running my own advertising agency alongside my husband, Aashir—handling everything from ideation and designing to newspaper advertisements. We’ve worked on countless campaigns, helping businesses speak their identity loud and clear.
Writing wasn’t on my radar. My world was visual.
But life, like design, has a way of guiding you through unexpected whitespace. It opens a door when you least expect it, and sometimes, it gives you an entirely new room to explore.
My fascination with energy, balance, and space started while I was working with clients on layout and branding projects. I kept encountering people talking about how the positioning of a door or the colours on a wall could affect mood, finance, even harmony at home. As someone always seeking alignment between form and function, I was curious.
That curiosity introduced me to Vastu Shastra, and I was hooked. What started as an interest turned into a passion. I dove deep into studying the ancient science, learning how direction, placement, and energy flow impact one’s personal and professional life.
Gradually, I started offering Vastu consultations. Over the years, I’ve worked with homeowners, business owners, and factory setups—providing insights and solutions that required no civil changes. And the results have been nothing short of magical. My clients often reported a shift in energy, clarity in decisions, growth in finances, and an overall sense of well-being. The success rate of my recommendations has been nearly 100%, which is both humbling and deeply satisfying.
There were times when I questioned myself—will people believe in what I have to offer? But time and again, client feedback and transformations in their lives reaffirmed my purpose. When someone tells you that their house finally feels like a home or that business picked up after months of stagnancy, you know you’re onto something meaningful.
Initially, I maintained journals of case studies, observations, and intuitive insights. Those notes gradually transformed into organized content, principles, examples, and real-life stories. That’s when the thought of writing a book first crept in.
At first, I hesitated. I wasn’t from a literary background. But I had lived these experiences. I knew that if my words could bring harmony to even one person’s space or life, they were worth sharing.
And so, "Vastu: Door to Success" came to life.
But this journey wasn’t just about sharing Vastu. It was about stepping into a version of myself I hadn’t known existed.
At 53, while many think of slowing down, I found myself speeding up. I often tell people, when the sun is setting, most think it’s the end. But for me, it was the beginning of a new sunrise. A renewed purpose, a spark I didn’t know still existed, lit up my path.
I owe this transformation to two incredible mentors.
First, Mr. Sidharth Shah, CEO of Think and Grow Rich Academy, India, who became the visionary behind my mindset shift. His sessions on growth, belief, and purpose made me realise that age is no barrier to learning or evolving. When the sun seemed to be setting, I experienced the ray of a new dawn through his inspiration. He taught me that there is no retirement for dreams.
Then came Mr. Rohit Mote, CEO at Growthyfai, Pune, who opened the doors to the boundless universe of AI tools. Under his guidance, I learned how to use artificial intelligence to streamline my ideas, bring my content to life, and reach a broader audience.
This was more than just learning a new technology—it was like opening a door to a new world. A world where age didn’t matter. A world where imagination met innovation. A world where creativity had no bounds.
It was through this digital awakening that I discovered Pixabay, a platform where creators from around the world share free visuals. I began uploading AI-generated images, fusing creativity with intention. Today, I have crossed 1 million views and over 80,000 downloads on my Pixabay account. These numbers are not just statistics—they reflect the global impact of content that began in the quiet corners of my home.
Each download, each view, was proof that creativity transcends boundaries and that the world is always looking for authenticity and value. It reinforced that it’s never too late to shine, and the setting sun can be the brightest hour of your journey.
This AI journey also introduced me to prompt creation, eBook designing, and launching digital products. I began designing Vastu prompt packs, visual content, and journaling guides, extending my knowledge to consultants, designers, and everyday enthusiasts.
Today, I’m not just a designer or consultant. I’m an author, an AI enthusiast, and a digital product creator. I journal Vastu tips, create content packs, teach through my books, and mentor others to align their spaces with purpose. I do this through platforms like Amazon KDP, Gumroad, and Google Play Books.
Looking back, the dots connect beautifully. From branding to balancing energies, from layouts to life design—it all feels part of the same blueprint. What seemed like separate chapters in my life were actually part of the same book, waiting to be written.
I still love design. But I’ve grown to love the power of words just as much. Because design changes how things look—but words? They change how people feel.
I’m not here to compete. I’m here to create.
And if I can reinvent myself in my 50s, you absolutely can too.
