Side of a Girl

"Charm is deciteful ,and vain is beauty". Every women's .She worked as an office manager, and the only woman, for an industrial insulation company. She had just come back from maternity leave and She was worried about her milk supply. She went into the bathroom to pump for about 15 minutes every two hours, and all of the men in the office would stand in the break area (right in front of the bathroom door) and make baby crying noises to make fun of her. Eventually it progressed to the point that they would make crying noises every time they passed her desk in hopes that she would leak through her shirt.They would also make comments about how much larger her breasts were since having a baby. She felt so harassed and unsafe that she would dread going to work every day, and she even had more than a few nervous breakdowns. Her husband was furious and she had to convince him not to take any drastic action so that she could be sure to have a good reference if she needed to find another job.They had a long conversation and looked at their finances and decided the extra money wasn't worth the emotional distress. She ended up quitting her job and staying home with her kids." This was the real incident which I come to know few months back.

She work in middle east as a Secretary from last 05 years with the same organization. Actually, she don’t have the confidence to search job outside because she an especially abled individual. She have good knowledge and experience to do the job. She joined this company in 2013, when they started their operations as startup, where processes and structures were not even in place. They are into manpower supply business. She worked very hard to develop process, formats and helped in structuring the internal data as she was the only one managing the administration. As it was all labor related they need to have all details of labor here in middle east. (like civil id , passport , badges etc). She used to work very hard and dedicatedly performed duties as if it was her own company. Everything was working well and her superiors were also very supportive all this while she have handled office till year 2015, peacefully. Her bosses were supportive. After her first delivery when she was in maternity leave they appointed a new secretary. And after that the change started. Actually, in their office she was the only lady staff & a tea girl. Others were men. And you imagine if a girl who is not bothering anyone touching her, and won’t mind exposing herself was replacing her.(I am not blaming her; she was free bird, with open mind). When she came back from her maternity leave, everything was total mess. She didn’t have most of the files in system or in cabinets. Because she thought it as waste. She deleted most of the things (Thank God for giving me 8th sense to take a backup in my flash drive before she went. She was beautiful than me (she accept). These uneducated men were supporting her for everything she did.

She worked as a photographer for the local newspaper when she was putting herself through college. One day on a shoot, the top dog on location pulled her aside and told her that he thinks about me when he’s sleeping with his wife. She work in law enforcement. She started out as a correctional officer in an all-male prison. When she was walking to post one day an inmate screamed at her,'Bitch, I'll beat your pussy so hard it'll put you in the hospital.' she called a unit code because to her that is harassment. Violent sexual harassment. But because she worked in a male prison, she was supposed to let it go in one ear and out the other."

This short story I would like to share with you all to know the things happens to a woman ,not in office alone it takes place everywhere.As a women we should take a pledge that" Never be bulled into silence,never allow yourself to be a victim."
