A TRIP TO PARADISE

MY TRIP TO KASHMIR .

We decided to take a break and enjoy the fullest this vacation So,

We started the journey by taking the blessings of elders and god .We sat in the car reached Lucknow and before we could imagine so for a little time pass we went to see 83 in phoenix pallasio after that we boarded the filght for kashmir via delhi and enjoyed the scenic beauty by staring clouds and farms in the way .

We booked a car and left for pahelgam which is really a paradise on earth . The car journey was amazing cause we experinced snow fall .

Around 1 o'clock we reached pahelgam .

We stayed at pahelgam for 2 days we visited the Betab valley , Sheshang valley , Aru valley and took a million pictures .

The temperature here varied between 0 C to -4 C . That was the first day I tasted kawa which is indeed a kind of medicine to enjoy these frozen days .

KAWA is a drink and the extract of Piper methysticum plant served with dry fruits which is nutrition rich they mix herbs as well .

After enjoying the experience of pahelgam we got ready to enjoy gulamarg .

And a memorable incident was captured when we were near our hotel and the car could not go to the steep side and unforunately we carried a lot of luggages due to heavy jackets and we had to take our luggages all by our self to the hotel it was very funny cause as we tried to go up we were slipping down due to the less friction available there .

After we got ready by wearing 4 layer clothes to start our adventure we took a cable car or also known as gondola ride and reached the place were there are lots of snow activities like snow skating on the snow capped mountains and many more. we also walked on the frozen lake at Alpather lake !

We aslo snow sledged down the slopes at the top speed . it was like slip , slide and glide down the icy slopes .

temperature here was very low between -10C to - 20C .

I took the four wheel car and drived it to the top of the mountain to see the sunset with a chilled glass of coke with maggi it was a breathtaking moment .

It was quite late by the time we reached our hotel we packed all our suitcases and left for srinagar .

srinagar weather was bearable and was not that cold at all as it was in gulmarg . but we do did a lot of shopping in SRINAGR . the very unique shawl which is pashmina shawl which is made from goat fur. which was very famous here because the art of shawl making is more of a famliy affair, passed on from one generation to another. we did shikara ride in the dal lake and side seeing and there was a floating market where people laid the products on their boats and sell them . the sivler jewelry and the half moon cut ring and necklaces . there were homes on the river and parents took their child to school on a boat . we had a herb mix maggi which was delight full .

we visited the Indira gandhi memorial tulip garden . we visited the Shalimar bagh mughal garden , ksheer bhawani temple , lal chowk , pari mahal .and many more . i also learned a few new words like bouaan which means brother .

The people of kashmir are very kind . we boarded the flight from kashmir to delhi and stayed in delhi for a few days beacuse we are a die heart fan of the food and dishes there such as chola bhature , the chinese food , and south indian too udipi is tne restaurant we visit everytime we go to delhi .

it was an amazing trip and i would like to visit it again in the summer season because we could not visit a few places as the people were saying it could be dangerous to take the car to the hilly areas it may cause accident . so we avoided it and thought to visit some day .

after visting kashmir pahelgam gulmarg sonmarg i can say the srinagar is known with the name of heaven on earth beacuse of its natural beauty . and it is a must to sit in a shikara in dal lake when ever you visit !!! and do drink KAWA!!
