All- girls High- school experience

It was my first time in India, when I moved from the Middle- East. I had completed my 7th grade and looking for a school. When I was newly admitted to the school in 8th grade in an all- girls school, the first day, a girl approached me to introduce herself and the school. She befriended me and showed me the whole school. I felt very happy that I made a friend. Usually, I’m a whole introvert and never socialised. After that, the lunch finished and we ran to the class. Later in class, I started searching for her, she was nowhere to be found! I couldn’t ask others about her, as I didn't know what her name was. Later, I was told that my class was going to change! I felt a little disappointed because everyone was helping me and trying to befriend me. In contrast, to which I thought they would be rude to me.

I got late to school the second day. The teacher was already in the class. I sat in the last bench. Then, a girl from the front bench was constantly looking at me. I started assuming that she was the girl who had helped me yesterday. I couldn’t find her in that class, maybe I got into her class! That made me happy. But, she wasn’t! She met me in the recess, she was a whole different girl. Her name could be Houston. Seems that the girl I'd met didn’t come today. I didn’t even ask her name yesterday! Anyhow, Houston was a popular girl. Still, the girl who was sitting beside me, in the last bench, was a semi- popular girl, her name we could keep Zurich and her friend Zion befriended me with their group and another popular girl was their leader, Atlanta. I wasn’t really interested but I needed someone to interact in the class.

The other day, that girl came, her name could be Hamilton. I was interacting with her; and Zurich and Zion as well! But, then I just felt they both didn’t like it. The teams used to eat lunch together with their friends. And Hamilton didn’t sit with anyone in the class, but with her elder sister and her friends. She took me to her sister for lunch. Those girls were two years older than us. When this happened, the other day, Zurich took me with their group for lunch. After lunch, Hamilton met me and said, “Where were you? I searched you everywhere, you seem to be nowhere!” I said, “Yeah, with Zurich and Zion, with their group.” She felt bad. And I didn’t know why I was wrong. If Hamilton is feeling bad, she could join their group. Anyways, I wasn’t interested in sitting with the older girls. Now, Hamilton started befriending Zurich, I was happy that she would join the group. But sadly, she didn’t.

I had a whole pack of new stationery. So, I would bring fancy stuff with me. Hamilton just loved it. So, I brought her the new pen. She was happy and so was I. Zurich and Zion warned me to do that. I used to have a lot of chocolates and I brought them. Snickers was my favourite and I used to bring it to school literally everyday. Hamilton told me to bring more and I brought because she was happy. A lot of girls would warn me that I am spoiling Hamilton. I said this to Hamilton about it. Hamilton replied that they were just jealous that I wasn't giving to them. Therefore, I didn't brought her any chocolates after that day.

Once, the teacher changed all of the students' places. And coincidentally, Zurich and I were to sit together in the second- last bench. That day, Hamilton was absent again. The next day, Hamilton came and saw that she had to sit on the last bench left all alone. The bench in front of that, was mine and Zurich’s, the second last bench.

Now, Hamilton exceeded the limits. She told ME to go to the last bench and she would sit with Zurich. Zurich got furious and said, “Are you kidding me? That’s her place! Be where you ARE.”

I started thinking, “What on earth is wrong with Hamilton? Why is she acting like this?”

Once, in Atlanta’s group, Atlanta was having some problems with Zurich and Kansas. Because of this, Kansas had a big fight with Atlanta. And Zurich was settling all this. She was trying to settle this dispute the whole time. She wanted none of them to fight. Houston was supporting both of them. I don't what happened, but here's the conclusion.

Kansas and Atlanta settled their fight. Seems like Atlanta didn’t want Zurich. And Kansas later left Atlanta’s group, because of Atlanta's toxic behaviour. The one settling the dispute was being dismissed from the group. It happened one lunch day, that Zurich and I, went to Houston's group. Kansas had also joined Houston’s group. When, Hamilton knew that we were there, she also joined Houston's group. We all were even sitting together in the class! Everything was going well until, Houston and Zurich were having small fights and Hamilton befriended them so deeply that she was left alone. Hamilton was like a stranger in their group. She used to spend the whole time with me. She was hurt that the ones who she tried befriending each other, left her and also said to me, Zurich was so close to us, now she’s spending the whole time with Houston. I nodded. I thought, Well, Zurich had changed. Anyways, I knew that Hamilton would also change AGAIN. I remembered how she was acting with me in between. I knew she expected ME to try to re- unite her with Houston, which certainly I would never do in my dreams. And she would leave me alone, with a negative attitude.

Houston and Zurich used to send Hamilton to the canteen to bring their stuff, she would take me sometimes. I was happy that I left them. Later, Houston and Atlanta also befriended each other. And Hamilton just wouldn't leave them! They wouldn't eat lunch together but roam around the building. They gave their lunch to someone else to eat. How and where was Hamilton supposed to eat? Yeah, she just stayed with me, as she had no one to interact with. I made some friends, who had 60% vibe matching with me. Therefore, Hamilton also showed her true face by not interacting with me. She would rather be a servant in the so- called 'popular girl's' group but not enjoy freely, alone. I also stopped interacting with her, because I really didn't care about any of these toxic friends.
