JUNE 10th - JULY 10th
Prologue
There was darkness everywhere. Evil was at its peak. Dark shadows are looming, evil is rising inside the people. What’s wrong or right doesn’t matter anymore, it matters which side you are on now. The sky has turned black, the river has become polluted, trees are being cut and forests are turning black. There are flames everywhere. People are dying of starvation. There is bloodshed everywhere. People are being killed in broad daylight. Now in this world, we can live in four ways – by killing, fighting, cohabiting or dying.
“The time has come. Your training ends. It’s time for you to do what you were trained for.”
“But I can’t do it alone.”
“Who said you were alone Go, the other six Chiranjeevi are waiting for you. Go find them and bring them to me. Only then will we be able to end this darkness. Remember, there is still a ray of hope left in people.'
“But how can I find them?”
“Go where Uchchaihshravas takes you. It will never betray as long as you remain loyal to it”
He took his Nandak, his sword, mounted on Uchchaihshravas, his horse, and went on to his venture to look for the other six Chiranjeevi and bring them together to stand an army against darkness, against Kali.
Ch.1 Search of the last warrior
Near a tea stall at night time.
A horse is seen from afar which is so white that even darkness could not hide its glow. An unknown man was riding on that horse. The man comes to a tea stall.
‘Brother, give me a cup of tea’, a man said
After so many years, the chaiwala was surprised to see a customer. While giving tea to the man, he asked him, ‘Brother, for what purpose have you come here.
The man remained calm and silent. He was enjoying his sips of tea comfortably. The man was well dressed in a hooded coat and had a felt hat on his head. He was wearing dark round sunglasses. He had a cane in one of his hands which had a shining yellow parrot with eyes of diamond. Near his waist was a leather bag from which a faint red light was emitting. He lit a cigar with his lighter. A glimpse of a face was seen with the flicker of the lighter. He had a big moustache on his face. There was a sharpness in his face. The light of such zeal on the face that once you see it, it will be imprinted on the mind forever.
On not getting any reply, the chaiwala further said, “I mean this place is not good for you like”. The tea stall was in a dark corner of the city where the major crime took place. Because of this, not many people used to come here.
“It’s cold, isn’t it?” the man asked.
“Yes indeed”, said the tea seller, “you haven’t told me, for what purpose have you come here?”
“I was going somewhere, thought I should take some rest here. After rest, I will leave for my destination.” That man said
“If you don’t mind, may I know where?”
“Towards Kailash”, said the man with enthusiasm, “there, I have to find someone.”
“Sir, stay here for as long as you want. It’s nice that someone came here after so many years. I am here if you need anything.”, said the chaiwala
“Thank you”
After some time the man wakes up and starts making preparations to leave, only then some goons come there. The darkness inside them was so clearly visible that their evil was reflected in their shadow.
One of the goons came and grabbed the collar of that tea seller and took out a knife from his pocket.
“Come on, take out the money”, shouted one of the goons coming to the tea seller.
“I don’t have money.”, the chaiwala said in fear, “please leave me.”
The goon hit the chaiwala with a punch and ordered his companions to destroy the cart.
“Nobody will do anything”, said the man
“ are you now?”, the goon asked, “Shut the bullshit and take out all your money.”
“What will you do if I say no”
“Will cut you into pieces”, said another goon.
The man smirked and,” You can try”.
That goon was engraved with anger, all his darkness dripping out his body. His eyes turned red, the evil curse taking over him, turning his soul into a devil. He threw a punch at that man which the man dodged easily. He turned to throw another punch but then he realizes that his stomach is slashed through, blood flowing out like water, and his body fell to the ground. The sword was part of the cane he was carrying. The sword was shining like north star, glowing blue hot even in this cold season. Seeing this, his fellow companion attacked the man with his knife. Deflecting his knife, he slashed through his throat. His head falling off his body rolled towards his other companion. The third goon used his chain and encircled the sword with a motto of disarming the man. But the man grabbed his chain and pulled him towards himself, kicking him unconscious. The fourth was terrified seeing all this. As the man approached him, he said,“ Please leave me. I won’t do it next time”. The goon falls to his knees and begs for his life.
“Your soul has become impure and has to be sanctified. I’m sorry my friend but I’ll have to kill you.”, said the man. He raised his sword in the sky and without hesitation beheaded him.
He, after killing him, placed his sword on his forehead and silently chanted a mantra,” Om Namo Narayanaya.” By the chanting of this mantra, a blue glowing smoke-like thing came out of their bodies, which got absorbed in the diamond of the eyes of the parrot fixed at the end of that sword. After this, he kept his sword in his sheath, which started looking back as a normal cane.
By this time the chaiwala had regained consciousness. Seeing the blood all around, he said to the man, “Please don’t kill me.”
“Don’t worry. Your spirit is pure.” Saying this, he took the money out of his pocket and said, “This is some money. Keep it, it will help you.”
Saying this he went from there to his horse and mounted on it. He was about to leave when the chaiwala asked him, “Sir, but who are you?” The man smiles and replies, “I am Kalki. I have come to destroy the darkness.” Saying this he disappeared somewhere into the glowing mist with his horse.
