Science Man: Humble Beginnings

The beginning after the end...

The earth, universe and the other universes that were connected to it was decimated, shattered into pieces, only remains were of debris and Peter himself, who was the only survivor and floating in space, brutally injured. He even lost his consciousness .

“No, Sam, Matt, all of you*cries*. How could I let this happen. What do I do, I got no hope, wait I must extract Sam and Matts Memories, it’s the only way I’ll be able to get them again.” sobbed Peter just after he regained consciousness.

Peter extracts the memories of Sam and Matt into a glass vial in case of any future uses. After extracting their memories, he floats around in space, crying, the only problem was that his tears weren’t falling, and they were holding on to his eyes!

When Peter was extracting Sam’s memories, he somehow saw, Sam’s every memory, forgotten ones, and ones he’ll never retain again, he saw Sam’s Dads relation with Dr. Wicked.

“Sir, I can’t thank you enough for the money, how can I repay you?” Said Sam’s dad in the memory.

“Oh, you can, look here” said Dr. Wicked with a cunning smile, while holding a peculiar object, Peter understood it, it was the hypnotizing stick! He had hypnotized Sam’s dad.

Dr. Wicked used the stick, Mr. Watterson appeared to be bewildered and clueless.

“Dada” 5-year-old Sam called out.

“NO, it can’t be” peter cried out.

364 days later…

Peter has viewed things in a different way ever since he saw Sam’s memories, he even learned many life lessons which he never knew he could gain from a person who was younger than him, he vowed to bring Sam back at all costs, even his own life, his appearance completely changed from not shaving, and bathing for so long, even though Peter could use his powers he didn’t want to. Peter was starting to look like Science, the man who gave Sam powers.

“Huh, what’s that in the distance?” Peter points to something that is glowing in the distance.

Turns out this glow was coming from the legendary blue phoenix, and new phoenix is about to be born.

“Wait, oh no, I better remove the barrier” said Peter, since they had made those barriers long time back to save the universe from being wiped out by the birth of the phoenix, so he immediately got to work and with one spell the barrier was gone and the blue phoenix could be born with no complications, then suddenly everything around him turned to a sparkly white color and there Peter saw, the legendary blue phoenix!

An aura formed but this time it was blue, this marked the formation of the universe, as now all the planets and galaxies would be created by this single mighty being. Its eggshell shattered into a thousand pieces marking that in billions of years the beings will be blessed or cursed by the eggshells power.

Peter shed a tear as he watched the formation of so many galaxies, but he also noticed something else. It was a star system taking formation! He noticed that it had many features like the last universe’s star system, and there he saw, out of the blue he saw a cage head straight into a bundle of rock, not only that, but a huge amount of eggshell also went to the same star system.

Peter dashed for the star system and decided to play his cards and live there. Little did he know that he would be spending billions of years on this star system creating the exact timeline of the old earth, and that he did, he continued this for 5 billion years, he was even warned by Lord Imperium, who unfortunately lost consciousness during the explosion by an unknown cause.

Present time…

“I really want to play video games, but dad would get so angry at that” said a 16-year-old boy, with light brown skin and green eyes, a rather mischievous boy from Miami. He started playing but unfortunately it was too loud, and his dad came to check on him

“Sam, Hey! Are you playing video games?(looks at Sam floating in the air) , Good lord, what is this, this better not be a joke” said the boys dad as Sam was floating in the air with a green aura surrounding him. After a minute of this and a minute of panic for his dad, he stopped floating, and regained consciousness immediately.

“Sam are you ok?” said his dad. “Yes dad, I’m fine, I just had the weirdest dream. I saw a man, bearded, he told m-me that um, I am the new heir and that I’m gonna have superpowers to save the world”, “ What nonsense are you telling, you were floating? Are you in a cult? Should I take you to a specialist,” said his dad. “That wouldn’t be necessary” arrived Peter after noticing the green aura and sensing its presence .

“Who are you, what have you done with my son,” said Mr. Carter.

“Mr. Carter, I have nothing to do with him, I have spent the last 5 billion years looking for special people like your son, when he emitted that aura, I knew it, he’s here. Now I can finally-” said Peter but was interrupted by the stopping of time.

“Don’t do that” said a mysterious figure, who was around 6 feet tall, in the background slowly approaching Peter.

“The supreme leader?”

“Yes, and the names James Harrison , I came here to stop you, don’t do this to him, let him live out his own memories,” said James.

“Sam needs me, the old Sam needs me, it’s risky and it would have consequences but what should I do?”

“ Give it to him when the time comes” said James while snatching the vial of Sam’s memories and keeping it safe in a compartment in his robotic hand.

“ Don’t destroy it, please” “ I won’t” said James, and off he went, Peter cursed at him in his mind, knowing that he failed his mission.

“Wait” Peter shouted.

James flew back down to see why.

“What is it ?” Peter ambushed him in anger holding him by the throat.

“Why, why didn’t you save us, while we were dying.”

James sighed and said, “I tried to stop Wicked beforehand, but he was too strong for me, he hypnotized me, and I built the bomb for him.” said James.

“This is unacceptable, you put all our lives in danger just to do things yourself.” said Peter in fury.

“It isn’t my fault, I thought I could finally make progress, and if you’re wondering how I stopped time, I have the powers, some powers that you can’t imagine.” said James.

“ Very well then, off you go.” Said Peter who didn’t want to see the better of James, James nodded and flew away, he resumed time after that.

“Whoever you are stay away from my son,” said Carter.

“No dad, I wish to speak to him, listen what about me, someone said about-

“You’re the heir and you’d save the world, or something in that order? Yeah, your old self had that too.” said Peter.

“Old self?”

“You had another, had the same powers as you, but- he sadly died. I had his memories, but they were taken.” said Peter.

“Aw man, would’ve loved to see his memories, how can I help, I would be of great help in saving the world, but how do I exactly use my powers?” said Sam.

“Listen Sam, I can instruct you about how to use your powers, but ask your dad too.” said Peter.

“You can go son, but be careful, after I saw your green aura, I thought you were gone for good, as if someone was putting a spell on you, there are superpowered people but, some use it for some really horrible things.” Said Carter in a concerned tone. “True, alright then Sam, lets head on.” said Peter.

“Good Luck Sam! Love you,” said Carter. “Love you too dad,” said Sam in happiness that his dad finally supports him. Seeing this Peter shed a tear of happiness and sadness at the same time.
