Jyoti Prateek is a poet and author known for her insightful observations of life and exploring the essence of being human. Her work celebrates the beauty and complexity of life in both the inner and outer realms of the human soul.
She is the author of three volumes of poetry, "Song of the Being" , "Untie Your Soul and Other Poems," and "Serene Illuminations". She has also written a book of short stories titled "The Borrowed God and Other Stories."
A mystic at heart, and an ardent nature lover, Jyoti is drawn to the profound mysteries of life and the natural world, Her works are often inspired by nature and delve into the mystical realms of life. Many of her works have been published in The Awakening Times magazine, a magazine dedicated to literature on yoga and meditation. She is also committed to promoting awareness and appreciation of the natural world through her Facebook page titled "Plants of Singapore" and her e-journal called "The Green Journal." Through her works she aims to promote self consciousness and environmental awareness for a better world to be in.
She has also contributed poems for the ALSphere Magazine and her works have been appreciated and awarded by the Asian Literary Society and Pen Wonders International.
Besides writing, Jyoti loves studying plants. Her Facebook page ‘Plants of Singapore’ lists more than five hundred species of the local flora, to create awareness about plants, and to foster a love for them in hope of their preservation. In this endeavor she has also published an e-journal by the name The Green Journal.
