He did a short-term urology training at St Peter’s Hospital London and one-year urology training at TMA Pai Rotary Hospital, Mangalore (Karnataka). He trained himself in Laparoscopy at Johnson and Johnson Institute, Mumbai. He also had training in upper and lower GI Endoscopy from the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Hyderabad, and then carried out laparoscopic and urology practice for twenty years. After that joined medical college at various positions and presently worked as Professor and Head Surgery at ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Faridabad, Haryana, India. He has published more than 85 publications in National and International journals. He has attended many conferences and chaired sessions in most of them. He has organized many regional and state-level conferences. He is on editorial boards of many reputed national and international journals. He has contributed editorials in many journals.
