Dr Haribabu Thammineni, is a teacher, academic administrator and expert in the field of English Language Teaching.  He began his academic career as a Lecturer of English in June 1997, rising to become a Professor at present at Lendi Institute of Engineering & Technology, Vizag. 
He has held the positions of Head of the Department, Dean and Vice-Principal and numerous other Administrative Positions. He had been on committees of several public institutions under assignments of great sensitivity and responsibility.
An inspiring teacher and mentor of research over the last 24 years of service Dr Haribabu Thammineni's contributions have received accolades and best paper awards at International/National Conferences, with 26 research papers of which a majority are in impact international journals, having popular citations, he is one of the promising researchers in the field of ELT.
Dr Haribabu Thammineni has received, among other honours, the Best Teacher award from the Rotary Club and as Best NSS Programme Officer from Govt. of AP in the combined state during the year 2011, for his contributions.
All throughout his career, he is identified for successful contribution as a teacher in the field of English Language Teaching, and as an academic administrator, in various capacities, while maintaining a very high level of research output in terms of quality as well as quantity.
