The 9th floor

Don't go at the 9th floor, Rosy (care taker) said this to me and went to kitchen to get the food. It was dark rainy night. I came from Delhi to Mumbai. I visited this building when I was 4 years old, almost 20 years back along with my parents. But today this building seems little wired and the atmoshpare was also not normal, all of sudden Rosy also mentioned about 9th floor. For a while I got scared, but it increased my curosity. Actually my mom said to take hotel room but when we have alredy a house in Mumbai why to waste money staying in a hotel. My Friends, Let me give you a brief background about my life. Hi, my name is Devesh, I was born in Delhi. My father is a Business man, 22 years back he started his fabric business in Delhi and for some official trip we three,(my mom, paa and me)came to Mumbai and my father got huge profit in that deal, and we bought a flat as an investment purpose in Sumetha Apartments, Bandra at 8th floor. A luxurious flat with amazing facilities. I have listened all these from my parents, I was very little at that time. And something happened in that building few years later and when my parents wanted to sell this flat but no one was ready to buy this. So in that building for 8th, 9th floor there are many stories that people have created. I dont belive but my mother is very serious about that. May be my parents are aware what happended in that building at 9th floor. But no body is ready to tell me exactly. I came to Mumbai to meet my college friends and we have planned a reunion. And to find out the truth I decided to stay in this building.
Next day after reunion, I came from restaurant which was 5 km far away from my flat. I asked Rosy to make some delicious food. Beacause I invited my friends to my flat for night stay, initially they were not ready but I insisted, however they were scared basis the haunted stories. But somehow I managed and gave them the bribe of whishky party from my side. They all agreed.

Rosy had prepared noodles, chilly paneer, biryani ..everything was set. And rosy said thet she will go home now and asked me ..not to open door for anyone else and no to go on 9th floor. I silently listetned and noded to her. She went around 7:30 pm ...little rain and light was also flickering in between. So I lightened up candles, it was looking mesmerising. I called up Naman and asked him where are they all...he said they are althogether and will be reaching in next 10 minutes. I was checking music system and suddenly at 7:39 bell rang, I kep door opened but still they were ringing bell, so i shouted...Oh, com on door is alredy opened yaar.ut it continously kept ringing and I just kept CD on table...but I saw there was nobody at the door. I got little tensed. But I ignored and closed door. When I came inside, my phone was ringing, I picked up " Arey!! where are you guys? Naman said tire got punctured..so will be taking 5 more minutes to reach. I started thinking and all thoughts were coming in my mind..my parents also said No to this building, Rosy also warned..and many people says many different things, but suddenly doorbell rang...I opened and hugged eachother....Niharika, Naman,Anurag and Saurabh. hey comeon "guys, welcome..to" ..."Haunted flat- Saurabh added and laughed... he said "oh I was kidding guys", lets grab the whishky glasses and turned on the TV. All were happy but Niharika sliently asked to me " Devesh, Is it okay everything here. You are looking tensed " I smiled and made her comfortable and said yes, you are with me everything is perfectly fine..Naman & Anurag just came near to us and secrely called Saurabh also and opened up the wishky bottle and chears...they were singing " ILU ILU ....everyone laughed..Niharika was smiling with a blushy face...

"Hey, Devesh ..do we have more chilli paneer.. let me bring I really liked it.."Saurabh asked to me . I said yes..Rosy had made it in huge quantity..it is in the freeze..you can microvave it .He went and meanwhile..couple dance was being performed by Niharika and I. Naman & Anurag.

"Who is there "Saurabh shouted in a feared tone. We all ran to the kitchen, we saw Saurabh was very scared. We asked to him what happend. "Somebody is there with red shawl covered her face and very tall height. Naman laughed and said"you have draken lot, come there is nobody. We all made him comfortable, however I was little scared now. We finished all food and went to sleep. I was not able to sleep that night, I am sure nobody was.

Next day they all went to their home . I got call from Rosy that she is not feeling well and will not be able to come. So I prepeared my breakfast and after some time went to take shower. When I was taking bath and suddenly I saw red shawl which was stucked in my bathroom door...I closed taps and took towel..wrapped it.. opened the door fearlessly and I was just chasing and holded the shawl in my hand...It was very long shawl was going on stairs...I sarted climbing on stairs and I saw something very scary...I got scared...I ran down and locked myself in the room for 30-45 mins. I got very scared and went back Delhi. But still after 2 years when I think about that incident, I get goosebumps. It was very scarey..............
