The Shetan and Ram series provides an entertaining, educational experience for young readers as they work with the main characters to solve unique cases.

John Chardavoyne had lived in India for several years in the state of Rajasthan during the 1970s. He makes periodic visits to the country and has done volunteer teaching at a primary school in Jaipur. He did not have a curriculum from which to teach English when he began doing so, which was why he began writing short stories for the students. These short stories evolved into The Adventures of Shetan and Ram, meant to educate and entertain students and adults of all ages.
The author currently resides in the state of Connecticut, USA.
