World through a Stethoscope is an idea, which originated amidst the gone pandemic of COVID. With a simple motto of giving voice to healthcare professionals, unfolding stories, one at a time. With 74 established authors - who are healthcare professionals, have enlived the text within these pages. They have unveiled the triumphs and challenges, the moments of vulnerability and resilience, that have shaped them as they navigate the maze of healthcare.
In the vast realm of medicine, where every heartbeat holds a story, we find ourselves at the crossroads of science and humanity. Welcome to this anthology, a tapestry woven by the hands, minds, and hearts of medical professionals. The narratives in this book are frozen in time, representing the authors as they were around December 2020. As we fast forward to 2023, their subsequent achievements and personal growth have taken them to new heights, making their stories even more inspiring and emblematic of their remarkable journeys.

Dr. Tejas Shelar
An individual of unquestionable integrity, the trait that sets Dr. Tejas apart is her ability to unlock people's potential to become better. Unmatched dedication being her trademark, Dr Tejas has been awarded multiple accolades for her academic and extracurricular ventures. Being the first doctor in her entire ancestry, she has paved her way with relentless passion for Medicine.
If we were to summarise Dr. Tejas in one statement, it would be only fitting to say that she's not only the Jack of all trades but also, the Master of All. Evident from what her presence has helped WTS achieve already, she's capable of handling every avenue herself right from having social media at her fingertips to having built the structure to managing marketing and global relations with medical professionals in her spare time; all while leading WTS to it's peak.
Incredibly ambitious and driven, Dr Tejas hasn't fallen short in building her impressive persona outside WTS either; From being a COVID Warrior, an artist - exhibiting her art on International Tour, organising various healthcare camps, to grabbing 8 distinctions in her MBBS, to being awarded the: “Champions of Champions Award” on National level for engaging in impactful community service along with excelling at her academics, amongst 36 other awards, there's little Dr Tejas hasn't dabbled in yet.
She believes, "Leadership is not about the next election, it's about the next generation. I strongly believe that the next generation has the capacity to translate vision into reality. We are the new generation of Healthcare professionals. We are the next."
With her guidance WTS, the first go itself, grew to having 73 authors!
