Honest Worker

There once lived a man named Mohan in the village of Uttarakhand. Due to poverty, he and his wife Geeta had to work really hard because they couldn't afford food. People mistreated Mohan and Geeta because they were impoverished, despite their pure hearts.

Geeta said one day, "Listen, why are people misbehaving with us?" What have we done to them that is so wrong? They looked at me differently when I went to gather water, which made me know that we were impoverished.

Mohan: We haven't harmed them in any way. These people take pleasure in seeing us in distress. Anyway, don't worry about them. Otherwise, they will make life difficult for us. We should always think about the positive aspects of life. I'm starving. Let's have a bite to eat.

Geeta: All right, let's go. You should go change your clothes. I'll put the plates on the table.

After dinner, Mohan and Geeta went to sleep. She finishes all of the tasks the next day early in the morning and goes to work. After that, Mohan gets ready and arrives.

Mohan: Today I might be a little late. You're on your own for dinner. OK.

Geeta: All right, that's alright.

Geeta and Mohan then depart for work. Geeta became thirsty while working in a field. Geeta moves closer to her pod in order to receive some water. Because there was insufficient water in the pot. Geeta travels to the village in order to obtain some water. Their village was one of those that didn't have easy access to water. In the entire village, there was only one well. Everyone drank from the well, so Geeta goes to the well and gets some water before returning to the field.

The businessman in the wiggle tells her that a big car stopped in front of her while she was returning. Businessman: Sister, could you just bring me some water? I'm thirsty, but I can't seem to find any water. I'd be extremely appreciative.

Mohan: All right, I'm leaving.

Geeta and Mohan then depart for work. Geeta became thirsty while working in a field. Geeta moves closer to her pod in order to receive some water. Because there was insufficient water in the pot. Geeta travels to the village in order to obtain some water. Their town was one of those where water was scarce.

Geeta: OK, fine.

Mohan: I am going then, OK.

After this, Geeta and Mohan leave for work. While, Geeta was working in a field, she felt thirsty. Geeta goes near her pod to get some water. Since there wasn't enough water in the pot. Geeta goes to the village to fetch some water. Their village was one such village where water was not easily available. There was only one well in the entire village. Everybody drank water from that well, Geeta fetches some water from the well and returns to the field.

While she was returning, a big car stops in front of her, the businessman sitting in the wiggle tells her. Businessman: Sister, can I get some water, please? I'm very thirsty, but I couldn't find water anywhere. If I could obtain some water from your pot, it would be fantastic.

Geeta: You're calling me your sister and talking about gratitude, brother. Take a sip of water right now. You may drink as much as you want. The pot is given to the businessmen by Geeta. The man was ecstatic as he drank from the pot. You have made me indebted to you, sister. Tell me what you're looking for. I'll hand it on to you.

Geeta: I'm not interested in anything. Please stop by my place the next time you're passing through.

Businessmen: Yes, I will come to your residence, says the businessman. Sister. I'm leaving right now. OK.

Geeta goes to go to work after saying this. The businessman gets into his car and drives away. After some time, the businessman was going through the village again. Then it started raining suddenly. The tire of his car got stuck in a ditch and he was not able to get it out. Oh my poor fortune. It had to happen today only. The businessmen started searching for help. He looks at some villagers and asks for their help. Brothers, can you help me? My God! this tyre is stuck here. Can you help me? A brother. It is raining here. We are trying to reach home and you are asking for our help here.

Villagers: Let us go, brothers. I don't want to get wet in the rain. Let us leave. They all leave him there. The businessmen tries to start his vehicle again. Then the businessman sees Mohan going from there. Then brother listen, my vehicle is stuck in this ditch. Can you help me out? Yes, Sir. Sure.

You try to start the vehicle and I will push it from behind. The businessman goes and sits inside the vehicle and turns it on. Mohan tries to push it from behind. His clothes get dirty due to the rain, but he pushes the vehicle without caring about it. After a lot of effort, the car gets out of the ditch, the businessmen takes the vehicle a little forward and then stops the vehicle and then comes out to talk to Mohan.

Businessmen: Thanks a lot brother. What's your name?

Mohan: my name is Mohan.

Businessmen: What do you do for living Mohan?

Mohan: I do missionary work.

I'm looking for work. I couldn't find any work today. That is why I'm returning home. And you just called me. Oh OK, I have a huge business in the city. You can come to work there. I like your attitude. I can hire you at my company. Are you telling the truth, Sir? I will never forget your help.

When I called the rest of the people, nobody came forward to help me out. And you helped me out without expecting anything in return. That is why I am very happy. I am leaving. For now. I will come back after eight days to pick you and your family up. We will go to the city. You go pack all yourself. Yes, Sir. But Sir. Where will we live in the city? I will also arrange for your house. Don't worry about it. Yes, Sir. I am leaving now. Make necessary arrangements. Yes, Sir. The businessman leaves after saying this. Mohan also returns home.

Hey Geeta! listen, now we don't have to live in this village. We will leave for the city after eight days. A very big business. Man has offered me a job at his company. Are you telling the truth? This is wonderful news. Yes, Geeta. The man was very generous. He also helped us find a house. Now we don't have to live here. You pack up all of your stuff. Yes, I will do it. After saying this, both of them continue with their work.

A few days passed by and the business man comes back to pick them up as promised. The whole village gets surprised with the businessman's luxurious car.

Villagers: Oh! such a luxurious car ! that even in front of Mohan's house. The vehicle stops in front of Mohan's house and the businessmen steps out of the car.

Mohan: Oh Sir!, please come in. You are here. I cannot believe my eyes. Please come in.

The businessman enters his house. Then Geeta comes with water. Brother, you're here! Please take a seat. I'm feeling really very fortunate that you're here at my home.

Mohan: Did you know each other?

Businessmen :We have met before. She is my sister.

Geeta: Brother was very thirsty that day, so I gave him some water and from that day onwards I'm his sister.

Mohan: Oh, this is very surprising.

Mohan and Geeta leave the businessman in his car to the town. The whole village gets surprised. Looking at this, they feel embarrassed about their behavior with them. On the other hand, the businessman takes both of them to the town. The businessman made Mohan, the manager of his company. A few years, pass by Mohan worked very hard at his job and gave his family a happy life because of his honest work.

The moral of this story is the fruit of truth and honesty is always sweet.
