Village of the Dead : The wicked Odyssey

Once upon a time, there used to be a small village named Wickedville in the northeastern part of a country named Megates. It was said that the village Wickedville justified its name as the residents believed that many years ago, the village was cursed by a sorcerer named Iniqium who used to reside in the netherworld. Due to the curse of Iniqium, the village residents were compelled to turn into zombies. Now, the whole village was turned into zombies except for a group of 4 people who comprised non-family elements in which a man named Balmer Holland, a woman named Brie Cobbett, a kid named Alex Paschen and a girl named Rebata Marr were included. They somehow escaped from the scene. They all were unaware of the fact that if they have to turn the scene normal, they have to defeat Iniqium which was not that easy because he had the boon of never dying and he can be only defeated by a special weapon called Fleshreaper which can be only found in the dreaded labyrinth of Azrael which was 24 kilometres away from the city of Pallester. Now, they were in the search of a safe place to hide and after travelling for hours, they finally reached a forest. Suddenly, a spear, thrown from a short distance, wounded him. Balmer was injured now. Till this time, Alex had observed those two men who threw the spear. He pointed toward them. Now, an injured Balmer was compelled to fight them alone. As soon as he got ready to fight, one of them exclaimed, "Wait!" Then, he observed everyone for a couple of seconds and after observing all of them, he said, "Sorry Gentleman, We thought you were a zombie who was looking for us." "Aren't you zombies? If you are not zombies, why did you attack us?” enquired the little girl. Hearing this, the man said, "No, we are not zombies." The other man said, "We somehow escaped from that horrible region of zombies and after that, we came here to hide to escape from them. From then, we are compelled to stay here." Understanding their story, Balmer offered them to join the group. They both agreed and now, there were in-total 6 members in the group. And on the other hand, hungry zombies were eagerly searching for humans. They have destroyed the entire village; by now, some of these zombies were spreading in different directions looking for humans. Now, the group of protagonists started walking toward the city to find an effective solution for the same.

Now, the group moved towards the city of Pallester in search of help. After 2 days, the cluster reached Pallester. The king of Pallester, Pablo De Lyon, was very generous. When the cluster went to the king's palace and told him of their troubles, King Pablo, after a little thought, agreed to help them. He gave them some powerful weapons like spears, swords, bows and arrows, etc. He immediately ordered his soldiers to help them and he himself agreed to help them too. King Pablo called all the residents of his city to his palace. Now, he made the protagonist’s delegation stand in a corner of his palace and listen to the residents. When all residents arrived, he asked everyone if anyone knew anything about the solution to the scenario. Some people started telling what they knew and from this, the delegation had got a strong idea about the solution to the scenario and about the Labyrinth of Azrael, Iniqium etc. One of the residents suddenly rushed to his house and brought an old map which he gave them telling them that it will guide them to the Labyrinth of Azrael. Listening to this and after taking the map, the delegation thanked King Pablo and the residents and proceeded their way in search of the labyrinth. Having covered 10 kilometres by feet according to the map, they all were too tired again and decided to take a rest but they were unable to find a suitable place. Suddenly, some arrows, thrown from a very short distance, obstructed their path. They were surprised again and this time, they found that these were zombies only which are obstructing their path this time. They started to run very fastly to escape from there. After running continuously, the group was finally able to escape those horrible creatures. Now, they have covered 12 kilometres but 12 kilometres were still left to be covered. As they were tired, they sat on the ground and relaxed for a couple of minutes. Suddenly, Brie took out some food from her bag and said that she had saved this for emergency only and they all can eat it now. The remaining 5 members were delighted to see this and after thanking her, they all ate the food and went on their way again. After some days, they were able to cover 22 kilometres by feet and now, they were so tired that they couldn't even walk a step. "If we stay here, then we will never be able to deal with the scenario of our village." said the innocent girl. Hearing this, they all went on their way again and after a couple of hours, they finally reached the dreaded labyrinth of Azrael. There was a door in that labyrinth with a big lock hanging on it and when Balmer tried to open the door, some magical powers pushed him back and everyone was surprised to see this. They got too disappointed and started thinking that now this door will never open and they will never be able to take the Fleshreaper from this labyrinth. Balmer tried again but failed this time too. Just then, Alex's gaze goes to the lower end of the door and he finds that there is something written on the lower side of door. He went to the door and began to read aloud, 'This door can only be opened by the Golden Key'. After hearing this, everyone became jovial and started thinking that how can this key be found, but suddenly, the zombies attack them again. But this time they were unable to run away due to less space and they were compelled to hide. Just then, Brie sees something glowing in the clothes of one of the zombies. Brie told this to everyone and then, everyone caught that zombie and somehow, they succeeded in getting the golden key. After seeing that the Golden Key has been captured, the zombies ran away. Now, they reached the entrance of the labyrinth again and this time, Balmer was successfully able to open the door of the labyrinth with the help of the golden key. As soon as the door opened, many bats passed over their head and they got too scared. After getting back to normal, they observed another gate in front of them which was closed and had a lock. Suddenly, some goblins came out from different parts of the labyrinth and started attacking them with their spears. Brie and Alex got injured but somehow, the three men succeeded in defeating the goblins physically. After the defeat of the goblins, the door opened automatically. Finally, Balmer pulled out the Fleshreaper and they were now all set to defeat Iniqium. After a few days, the group reached their village through their constant efforts and now, they were able to easily defeat all the zombies that came in their way. After defeating all the zombies, they reached the central area of the village and started calling, " Iniqium! Where are you coward Iniqium? If you are brave and have courage, then come in front and show us your courage." Iniqium listened to all this and decided to teach them a lesson for this purpose, he came in front of them and started casting vicious spells and then, he threw a magical beam toward them. The trio escaped but other members of the group got frozen on the spot and this process of hit and escape continued for a long time. "Now, this is your end Iniqium!" Balmer shouted. He took out the Fleshreaper and attacked him with the supernatural weapon. Iniqium screamed in pain but Balmer did not stop his attacks. After some time, Iniqium finally shouted, "I will be back soon and take revenge on everyone" and having said that, he vanished and a strong ray of light surrounded the entire village. This turned all zombies back to normal and recovered all the damaged things. This process lasted for a couple of seconds and then, with a huge sound, everything turned normal. The members of the group started searching for their families and having found all family members and all village residents safe, they became too happy and all of them again started living a normal life happily.
