Advancement in manufacturing processes has drawn preeminent interest from researchers and industry. This makes the process of manufacturing more productive and highly efficient. Advancement of technology has been done by several approaches to combine different manufacturing processes with similar objectives of increasing material removal rate, improving surface integrity, reducing tool wear, reducing production time, and extending application areas. A combination of different processes opens new opportunities and applications for manufacturing various components that are not able to be produced economically by processes on their own.

Santhosh Rao
Santhosh Rao is a Mechanical Engineer, who is interested in both fiction and academic writing. He has written and published two books, which are basically collections of short fictional moral stories that are available at www.notionpress.com.
Having completed his Bachelor’s degree at East West College of Engineering, one of a very reputed group of institutions in Bengaluru, having more than half a century of expertise and service in the field of education. He started working as a lecturer at the department of Mechanical Engineering, East West Institute of Polytechnic, Yelahanka.
Other than this, he has also published a journal paper in the Journal of Mechanical Robotics (e-ISSN:2582-2187) at MAT Journals Pvt. Ltd. On Fabrication of Low-Cost Intelligent Robot Arm (iRobA).
