Dr. Baswaraj V. Bhede
I am an Assistant Professor in Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani, MS, India, where I have working for the past 19 years. My experience encompasses teaching, research, and extension, including instruction of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in insect morphology, taxonomy, and pest management for field and horticultural crops. I have led eight collaborative research projects on cotton, pigeonpea, and chickpea. I have published 84 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented my work at various conferences. I have also mentored 21 postgraduate students as a major advisor. My research focuses on the seasonal dynamics and management of pests in different, field and horticultural crops. I actively engage with the farming community, disseminating technologies through various outreach materials, including vernacular booklets, folders, pamphlets, charts, and mobile applications.
