Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood and More Revisiting 2025's most buzzworthy films

Author Name: Roktim Rajpal | Format: Hardcover | Genre : Music & Entertainment | Other Details

The year 2025 was an eventful one for movie buffs as multiple releases across languages garnered the attention of cinephiles. This book is a humble effort at re-igniting the discussion surrounding some of these titles. The carefully curated list features 10 entries and covers the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi industries. Given its scope, only a handful of films could make the cut. Most of the movies chosen were released between June and November. This made the tedious process of shortlisting a bit easier. However, quite a few big-ticket films still missed the bus as a lot had already been said about them. With that, it is time to give this book a read and find out if your favourite movies made it to the list.

Roktim Rajpal

Roktim Rajpal is a seasoned entertainment journalist with over a decade of experience. He has worked with several leading media houses. Born in Lucknow, Roktim is an alumnus of La Martiniere College Lucknow. He pursued engineering after completing his schooling. However, this was not his true calling as eventually transitioned to journalism. Roktim was fond of cinema from a young age and fell in love with the art form after watching Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. It was, however, Rajinikanth’s Sivaji (2007) and Kamal Haasan’s Dasavathaaram (2008) that introduced him to Tamil cinema. Years later, Baahubali compelled him to explore Telugu cinema. While doing so, he developed a keen interest in Sr NTR’s work and the rest is history. During his career, he has also interacted with A-list stars. This book is his attempt at expressing his sharp and highly-personal views on 10 films that captured his attention in 2025.
