She has been a teacher and trainer for over 36 years. Mildred spent her childhood days at the piano. She pursued her training seriously and is a qualified Music teacher with an A.T.C.L. diploma. She earned a gold medal in state-level Catechism exam from the Catholic diocese. A national scholarship to continue her education in music. Mildred obtained a Business Management degree. She started her career in a convent as a teacher of music and English for weak students. Furthering her interest, Mildred moved on to private and international boarding schools as a music teacher and boarding mistress.
She progressed to focusing only on teaching English to foreign speakers aiming to enter universities. Her career encompassed a wide range of students from primary to university level. Mildred taught and trained students in Music, Drama, English to senior/university students and Business English to adults. She completed the TESOL Diploma with distinction and earned herself a Master Trainer Certification.
Her hobbies include travelling, music, writing, reading, art and craft, sketching, painting, baking, sewing and gardening. Mildred gained a firm foundation to pursue her interest in writing, from her career as a teacher and trainer. She could now put down her thoughts, ideas and experiences as a writer.
