Mike Rana is an electrical, aeronautical and computer engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology – Bombay. His experience of 30 years in the Indian Air Force and 15 years in the international corporate world motivated him to turn his attention to authoring. He has received several awards from the Government of India, including a VSM, Vishisht Seva Medal and Chief of Airstaff Commendation, for work on projects on large databases and real time embedded systems.
