This book is a combination of several specializations in civil engineering, namely irrigation engineering, hydraulic engineering, sanitary engineering, transportation engineering, construction engineering, etc. The content of this book gives complete knowledge to readers on five civil engineering projects, such as the new tank project, restoration tank project, water supply and sanitary project, highway project, and layout planning project. The chapters include both theoretical and practical aspects. Each project's survey procedures and observations are given in detail. Dr.K. Aravinthan, Civil Engineering, is serving as an Associate Professor at Rajarajeshwari College of Engineering. He has guided seventy plus B.E. students, twenty plus M.E. thesis students, and two Ph.D. scholars. He is an innovation ambassador and has received basic-level and advanced-level certification from the Ministry of Education. During his journey as an innovation ambassador, he has published two Indian patents and mentored five startup entrepreneurs. He has consulted on several government and private projects in his professional career. Nearly twenty-five national and international guest lectures are being delivered.
In addition, he was a national and state player of silambam martial art. Trained more than 100 young students. The trained students, under his guidance, received certification in the World Book of Records. He is a Vedic astrologer, guiding society towards the Vedic path.
