Mr.C.Thatchinamoorthy, independent researcher in the field of Agricultural Extension, He received a master's degree in Agricultural Extension from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. He awarded UGC fellowship for pursuing a DOCTORAL degree programme. He received seven awards, Published one text book entitled “Text book of extension communication and information technology” and one e-book on “Climate Smart Agriculture – opportunities and challenges” and also published eight book chapters. He has published 20 research papers in a journal of national and international repute, 53 research abstracts and some popular articles for the benefit of the farming community and field functionaries. He successfully completed 11 Massive Open Online Courses and participated in 26 training programmes. He participates and contributes to the Global Forum on Food Security and Nutrition, organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). He possesses over three months of teaching and eight years of research experience. He was acting as an editorial member and a review member of popular journals.
