Reading is a skill every child has to acquire early in life. Reading is to the
mind what exercise is to the body. Reading improves language and vocabulary. Reading should be fun and not work. So the present series of story books have been made
in an entertaining and interesting way. It is written in very simple language. The
stories have been graded from Levels 1 to 5. Refer to the books Magical Sight words
(Part -1 and Part-2) by the same author and to a children’s dictionary for meanings.
We offer the following suggestions to teacher / parent.
1. Read the story aloud to the child first.
2. Encourage child to understand what they read by checking the Telugu version.
3. Let child skip the hard words in the first reading. They can come back to them
later. Let child have fun in reading.
4. Some stories can be enacted by the children.
