KS Chhabra
Shri KS Chhabra was born in 1958 at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. After doing B.Pharm. and Post-Graduation in Management, he became a successful industrialist in the field of pharmaceutical formulations manufacturing. At the age of 53, he renounced his flourishing business and decided to dedicate rest of his life in service to humanity full time. His brain-child “Anand Ashram Charitable Trust” is a leading NGO today.
Shri Chhabra has been in various Managing Committees of some of the most prestigious institutions like Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI), Baroda Management Association (BMA), Indian Drugs Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA), MS University Students’ & Staff Union, Department of Pharmacy - MS University of Baroda, President - Rotary Club of Baroda Jawaharnagar, Founder Chairman-Alkapuri Jaycees Youth Club, President - MS University Pharmacy Alumni Association. He also represented India as part of Indo-Canadian Youth Exchange Programme.
Presently, KS Chhabra is serving the humanity as Managing Trustee of a leading NGO of Gujarat - Anand Ashram Charitable Trust which is engaged in number of social services. It is noteworthy that Anand Ashram (www.anandashram.ngo) has touched the lives of thousands of under-served people in India. His life story depicts the days of his struggle and how he transformed each adversity into an opportunity.
