Maira, a young American-Indian journalist, finds herself trapped in a situation where she has to cover a story for 'The New York Times' as an intern to secure her job.
This novel begins on an autumn night in 2020, when she is at home reading a novel. Of course, autumn is a sign of the slow decline of the year towards winter, bringing with it colder weather and darker evenings.

Karina Pandya hails from New York, USA, but has spent most of her life in Mumbai, India. She has completed her postgraduate degree in communications.
