In India, Livestock Products Technology is coming as an emerging field from career point of view. In the last decade, many Indian educational organizations including university departments, institutions, colleges and deemed universities have started undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate degree programmes related to Livestock Products Technology, Food Technology, Food Processing, Food Engineering and allied courses such as Dairy Technology, Post Harvest Technology, Foods and Nutrition, Agricultural and Food Process Engineering etc. Many of these institutes conduct entrance examination for admission in these courses. There are also some national level examinations conducted every year in the area of Livestock Products Technology such as ASRB-NET examination, ICAR JRF-SRF examination. This book is also very helpful for State PSC and UPSC examinations and Veterinary PSC. Hence there was a great need of an objective type book covering all important topics of subjects related to Livestock Products Technology-I (Milk and Milk Products Technology and Wool Science). Hence, the first edition of this book was written to compensate the demand of students and to help them in making their career in the areas of Livestock Products Technology (Milk and Milk Products Technology and Wool Science).

Dr Anshul Khare (Assistant Professor/Scientist)
Dr.Anshul Khare is a dedicated academician and subject expert with extensive teaching, extension and research experience in Livestock Products Technology. With a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of the subject, the author has been actively involved in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students teaching mentoring, and academic curriculum development. He completed his BVSc & A.H from Mhow Veterinary College and MVSc. from GADVASU Ludhiana, Punjab and PhD from Madras Veterinary College, TANUVAS, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He was selected in various ICAR Exams JRF AND SRF and secures Ist rank in Pre-PhD Entrance exam at TANUVAS in LPT-2012 and secures AIR 34 MPPSC Veterinary in 2012. He is currently working as Assistant Professor/Scientist in the department of Livestock Products Technology, College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, NDVSU, Jabalpur.
The author has contributed to 25 research and popular article publications in national and international journals, training programmes, and academic activities, and has been closely associated with preparing students for competitive examinations, university assessments, and professional courses. Their teaching methodology focuses on concept clarity, exam relevance, and practical understanding, which is reflected throughout this objective-type book.
