From a corporate career to 18 countries - one Rubik's cube changed everything.
What does it take to reinvent your life at forty-five?
For Manish Rathod, a media professional from Ahmedabad, the answer arrived in the form of a small colourful cube at a Mumbai airport in July 2017. That single purchase set in motion one of the most remarkable late bloomer stories to emerge from India.
One Turn at a Time is the honest, inspiring story of a midlife reinvention. Entirely self-taught, Manish became a puzzle designer and created around 150 twisty puzzle designs, with nearly 90 archived in the Twisty Puzzle Museum. His invention, the Manish Hexacopter, is sold across 18 countries. His YouTube channel Manqube has crossed 1.3 million views. He has been profiled by the Times of India, Hindustan Times, and The Indian Express.
But this Rubik's memoir is not about puzzles. It is about what becomes possible when a person stops waiting for the right moment and simply begins. Eight years of learning, failing, designing, and making - one turn at a time.
It was not too late for Manish Rathod. It is not too late for you.
