Raman is a 16-year-old boy who has a crush on his childhood friend, Priya. He is insecure and nervous, especially around Priya and her boyfriend, Rohan. He is loyal and helpful to his best friend, Raj, who often copies his homework. He is unhappy and frustrated with his life, but he doesn’t have the courage to change it. He is in love with Priya, but he knows she doesn’t feel the same way. He is doomed to suffer in silence.
Until he meets Anjali.
Anjali is a new girl who joins the school’s drama club, where Raman is also a member. She is smart, kind, and shares his passion for books and movies. She becomes Raman’s close friend. They spend hours talking about their favorite stories and characters, exchanging opinions and ideas, laughing and having fun. They work together on several projects and plays, impressing their teacher and peers with their creativity and talent.
Raman likes Anjali more than a friend, but he never has the courage to tell her how he feels.
