Cijo Alex
Cijo Alex hails from the small plantation town of Pala in the Central Travancore region of Kerala. He was born as the second child to Olickal Jospeh Chandy and Ponnamma Chandy. He is married to Anoopa Benny and they are blessed with a daughter Norah Alex. His father and wife are both psychiatrists. His sister Ceena Alex is a GP doctor in the UK.
Cijo Alex completed his UG and PG medical studies from Tribhuvan University, Nepal and Pondicherry University respectively. He is currently a Consultant Psychiatrist and Assistant Professor at Believers Church Medical College Hospital, Thiruvalla, Kerala. His areas of interest include addictions and geriatric psychiatry.
