This manual documents the lesson plans of the fifteen exercises in practical pharmacology scheduled for the Sixth semester of the B.Pharmacy course under the PCI curriculum. In planning these experiments, we have tried to fulfill the objectives stated by the PCI in their document. Hence, throughout this manual, attempt has been made to involve the learner in the development of intellectual skills such as planning an experiment, critical analysis of scientific documents, use of statistics for analyzing and interpreting data and scientific methods of documentation.

Dr. Ramandeep Singh has obtained his B.Pharmacy from HNB Central University Srinagar, (Uttrakhand), M.Pharmacy (Pharmacology) from A.S.B.A.S.J.S.M College of Pharmacy, Bela, Ropar, (Punjab) and Ph.D (Pharmacy) from SRU, Alwar, Rajasthan. Presently working as Associate Professor in Himachal Institute of Pharmacy, Paonta Sahib (H.P), India. He has published and presented many research papers in National and International Journal/Conferences. He is recipient of SPER Young Talent Award. He is a Life member of many Pharmaceuticals Societies and actively involved in professional organizations. Ms. Satinder Kakar has obtained her B.Pharmacy degree from KU, Kurukshetra, Haryana and M.Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) from PBSUHS, Rohtak, Haryana. Presently working as Assistant Professor in Himachal Institute of Pharmacy. Paonta Sahib (H.P), India. She has published and presented many research papers in National and International Journals/ Conferences
