Sahana. P. Shankar completed her B.E in Information Science and Engineering and MTech in Software Engineering from Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore. She is a third rank holder in B.E and a first rank holder with gold medal in MTech. She has worked with Unisys as an Associate Engineer for three years. She holds a US Patent in the field so software testing. She has worked with RIT as a Teaching Assistant for 6 months under the TEQIP-II scholarship program. She has published papers in various international journals and conferences. She has also authored several book chapters. She is an ISTQB certified software tester. She is currently working with Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering since 2018. She is pursuing her Ph.d in Applications of Machine Learning to Software Engineering with VTU.

Being a student from a rural background, it was not an easy task to understand programming languages due to lack of provisions. This project is book is done to counter that problem for future generations until sufficient availability of vast resources. This project aims to bridge the digital divide by providing resources, in the form of a book and practical sessions, to students in rural areas who face challenges in understanding programming languages due to limited access to educational material. Recognizing the importance of technolody in today's world, we believe that everyone, regardless of their geographical location, should have the opportunity to axquire/learn programming skills.
