Python reflects a number of growing trends in software development, putting it at or near the leading edge of good programming languages. It is a very simple language surrounded by a vast library of add-on modules. It is an open source project, supported by many individuals. It is an object-oriented language, binding data and processing into class definitions. It is a platform-independent, scripted language, with complete access to operating system API's. It supports integration of complex solutions from pre-built components. It is a dynamic language, which avoids many of the complexities and overheads of compiled languages. This book is a complete presentation of the Python language. It is oriented toward learning, which involves accumulating many closely intertwined concepts. In our experience teaching, coaching and doing programming, there is an upper limit on the “clue absorption rate”. In order to keep within this limit, we've found that it helps to present a language as ever-expanding layers. We'll lead you from a very tiny, easy to understand subset of statements to the entire Python language and all of the built-in data structures. We've also found that doing a number of exercises helps internalize each language concept.

Dr.M.Suresh Anand, is working as an Associate Professor at Department of Computer Science and Engineering in Sri Sairam engineering college, Chennai. He has completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Arunai Engineering College affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, Tamilnadu in the year 2002. He pursued his Master of Technology in Remote Sensing from College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, Tamilnadu in the year 2007. He achieved the Doctor of Philosophy in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, Tamilnadu in the year 2018. He had published more than 50 papers in UGC approved, Scopus indexed journals and conferences. He is having 15 years of experience in teaching. His areas of interest are Image Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Human Computer Interaction and Deep Learning. He is also a member in IAENG & IACSIT. Dr. Jothikumar. R, is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Shadan College of Engineering and Technology, Peerancheru, Hyderabad. He has completed his Doctoral degree from the Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, Nagercoil, Tamilnadu in 2017 and M. Tech CSE from the Dr. M.G.R Educational and Research Institute, Chennai. Right now, he has 16 years of teaching experience in various foremost institutions. He has published around 20 Scopus indexed journals, 2 SCI indexed journals and one patent. He is also serving as the guest editor for many Scopus Indexed journals right now. Dr.N.Vadivelan is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Teegala Krishna Reddy Engineering College, Meerpet, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He received his B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2008 and M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr.MGR Educational and Research Institute, Chennai, India in 2011. He was awarded Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from St. Peter’s Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, India in 2017. He has 8 years teaching experience. His research interests include WSN, IOT, Big Data Analytics and Networking. He has published many articles in reputed Journals.
