Dr Prajakta Waghmare
Dr Prajakta Waghmare is a dermatologist, researcher and educator with a deep passion for the art and science of skin. She is an alumnus of AIIMS Bhubaneswar and AIIMS Jodhpur, where she completed her MBBS and MD, and later earned her DNB. She has cleared USMLE Steps 1 and 2 and is ECFMG certified.
She has received an observership in complex medical dermatology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, USA. Her research work in vitiligo has gained international recognition and has been presented at a prestigious global conference.
Dr Prajakta specialises in clinical dermatology, trichology and aesthetic procedures. The Dermatology Dream is her debut book, written to guide and inspire students and young doctors navigating their journey in dermatology. She currently resides in Pune, Maharashtra.
