Karthikeya was born in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, and is currently based in Hyderabad. Born on 2nd October, he has spent most of his life overthinking, sometimes about life, sometimes about stories, and occasionally about why the chai gets cold so fast.
He enjoys coding, mostly for fun. Debugging logic, playing with programmes, and feeling proud when the code finally runs without errors give him the same joy others find in winning arguments. Programming taught him patience, frustration management, and the dangerous confidence to believe, “Yes, I can build this myself.”
Writing was never on the original roadmap. It began somewhere between countless cups of chai, love for masala dosa, and thoughts that absolutely refused to mind their own business at night. When sleep stopped cooperating, he decided to write instead, and this book is the result of that peaceful negotiation with his brain.
This is his first novel, shaped by a deep love for romantic thrillers, crime stories, and emotionally layered cinema. He is heavily inspired by Malayalam films, South Indian storytelling, and selective Hindi movies that stay in his head longer than they probably should.
He loves travelling, observing people, and silently turning everyday situations into dramatic scenes in his head. He watches fewer movies than most film lovers. But when he does, they usually end up influencing his thoughts, characters, or late-night imagination.
This book is proof that when thoughts don’t let you sleep, chai keeps you awake, and masala dosa keeps you alive, writing becomes the most sensible option.
