Born and brought up in the land of Magadh in eastern India where the Great Buddha attained Nirvana and started his sermons and Lord Mahavira began his teachings on Ahimsa, Amlesh Ranjan got an early initiation in the quest and exploration of life.
While he left Magadh for his professional pursuits, he kept on nurturing his interest in life in different ways.
Amlesh spent 22 days inside a Buddhist pagoda—living like a hermit, maintaining complete noble silence, doing Vipassana meditation, and exploring the life within.
Amlesh underwent rigorous training in Yoga and Pranayama along with teaching in Veda, Vedanta, and the Upanishads from an over 100 years old Yoga Institute.
His interest in life led him to read scriptures and books and also undergo globally recognized courses on happiness and wellbeing.
Amlesh has earned accreditation as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the ICF (International Coaching Federation). He has global certification as an ‘Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Assessor’ from MHS, US. He considers coaching as an opportunity to make a difference in the world, one soul at a time.
In a career spanning over three and a half decades, Amlesh has been a leader in the corporate world and a Leadership Development facilitator. He is a B-School Visiting Faculty.
Amlesh has been a thought leader for over a decade now. He has been delivering keynotes, leading workshops, and writing articles on corporate topics as well as on Life, Learning, and Leadership.
After decades of quest and exploration of life, Amlesh is sharing his life mantra for true and lasting happiness, wellbeing, and success in this book: The Penta Life.
