The library is an essential component of the educational process at all levels, but particularly at the college level, where it helps students develop their personalities, communication abilities, careers, and creative abilities. This is true regardless of the level of education being provided. Therefore, a library that is well-organized is necessary for the teaching and learning process in a college, particularly when the emphasis is shifted away from classroom-centered teaching procedures. The standard of education is significantly influenced by libraries in a meaningful way. The level of quality achieved in both the teaching and the learning process is directly proportional to the amount of information amassed and distributed by college libraries.
