This is not about gold, silver, or possessions. This is about dowry that can never be stolen; values, dignity, and courage to stand tall.
I have written 30 letters for my daughter; each one a part of me, each one something I hope will be her companion through every season of life.
Some letters are soft, like a hand on your head in blessing. Some are firm, like a gentle push forward when you need it. And some carry the whispers of my own mother, passed on to the next generation.
Though these words are for my daughter, they belong to every daughter… and every mother who has ever wished she could wrap her love in a book.
May these words always bring comfort and courage to whoever reads them.
