B.Varun working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology,Coimbatore from 2008 on wards. He completed M.E Engineering Design (2011) in Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore and obtained B.E. Mechanical Engineering (2005) from CSI College of Engineering, Ketti. He has 12 years of teaching experience . He also has 5 years of research experience. He handles courses on Dynamics of Machines, Design of Machine Elements, Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Graphics, Finite Element Analysis . His research interests include Vibration Analysis, Friction Stir Processing, Material Characterization and Optimization. He has undertaken a project sponsored from TNSCST and also from DST-NIMAT. He has presented/authored more than 7 research papers in both National/International level conferences. He has 6 publications in International Journals.
