Charles Dickens

Charles Dickens (7 February 1812 – 9 June 1870) was a social critic and an English novelist, considered to be the greatest writer in the Victorian era. His tryst with literature began with The Pickwick Papers in 1836. He soon became a well-known author internationally and was celebrated for his keen observation, perception, humour, satire and narrative arcs.
